I got the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit for $110/night - bids before that were all rejected (85 / 95 / 100 / 105) - for Oct 14-17 using your PRICELINE links. The additional night Downtown was not affordable, so I just booked a hotel further out through a regular booking engine. Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for your advice! I get the feeling that the overall deal is going to be better for me when splitting the way. Oct 14-17 really won't be the issue and for Oct 17-18 I might need to consider staying a little bit further out.

Hello all, I'm looking for a hotel room, preferrably in the 3,5*-4* area and downtown Detroit. Seems like Oct 17-18 is a tough night - some big event going on? Is there any way to get a decent rate without breaking the trip into two bookings? (Oct 14-17 and Oct 17-18) Was hoping to shoot for something around $100. Thanks for any advice or input on this one. t
