  1. Here's full amenities.... seems to me like its either the double tree or the Hyatt Regency.... I'm guessing Hyatt regency only because the TripAdvisor section on Hotwire says 4 out of 5 stars on 500-1000 reviews.... the DoubleTree only has 403 reviews on TripAdvisor and the Hyatt Regency has 733.... If we think its the Hyatt Regency, I'll take it, b/c its right in the terminal of the airport = win.... if its the double tree, the Marriott up the street (PIT South) is $20 cheaper... FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Airport shuttle, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower
  2. Sorry I never followed up on this. I chose not to do this, and got a different hotel for the night - the Holiday Inn Express near Austin Airport. It was more epxensive, but i felt better going with it
  3. I'm sorry, i should hvae posted the amenities from the BiddingHelper.com tool Free parking, Resort, Suite, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
  4. I believe this is probably the Caribe Royale, but I want to get your thoughts before I purchase. $86 per night, with $209 crossed out Hotel details Complimentary Free parking Amenities Business center Fitness center Pool(s) Resort Restaurant(s) Self-service laundry Smoke-free rooms Suite 90% recommended - 4.5* on TripAdvisor, w/ 1500-2000 reviews..... on the search page, it says "golf nearby" it all seems to tie out to the Caribe Royale - do you agree?
  5. Looking for my last night in town, just need somewhere to lay my head that's not sketchy..... 2.5* - $82 - normally $215, NO ammenities listed..... Only 20% approval rate scares me a bit.... but from the few bookings i've done on Hotwire, the "normal" prices are often pretty close to what you'd see the hotel on Priceline or Orbitz for.... only hotels in this range are Springhill Suites and Courtyard by Marriott...... I'd be fine with either of those, but not sure why there's no info and only a 20% rating... Any thoughts??
  6. Sure thing... 7. After researching both Priceline and Hotwire, i felt certain that I found a good deal that i was willing to take a stab at.... Luckily i was right... $102 for the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa.....
  8. I'm hesitatnt on the riverwalk hotels now, mainly b/c of the excessive cost of parking.... i MAY be willing to pay it, but if i can get something very nice, wiht free parking, i may prefer.... what can i say, i'm cheap What about your thoughts on this one..... I don't think any of the hotels in the list match very well.... the boutique part will hopefully narrow it down La Cantera - Fiesta Texas - The Rim - $82 - 3* FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
  9. Any thoughts on this one? Alamo - Riverwalk East - Convention Center - $86 - 3.5* FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, Accessible parking It says that the last person who booked this got the Menger Hotel, but looking at the amenities, and the Hotwire Hotel Lists that are linked on the Texas main page, I would guess its the Indigo .... Agree?
  10. Looking some more, it looks like the COntessa is 4.5*... and i'm guessing this is the Sheraton Gunter or Omni... but the 75% points towards the Sheraton... agree? I may prefer #2 - not sure
  11. Taking a business trip to Austin, and am going to drive down to San Antonio for a copule days afterward.... Dates are 10/14 - 10/16 2 hotels i'm interested in.... 1.) 4* San Antonio Riverwalk ... $98/nt... I would have assumed this was the hotel Contessa - but the 75% recommended rating is throwing me off Amenities: Amenities Boutique hotel Business center Fitness center Internet access Pet friendly Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms 2.) 4.5* San Antonio East Riverwalk Alamo - $118/nt - Looking at prior posts, i'm pretty sure this is the Grand Hyatt Amenities Business center Fitness center Free Internet Pet friendly Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Accessibility Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Any thoughts? I'm really interested in hotel #1 as it fits into my budget a little better....I'm sure I've done something wrong for the comparison, so let me know how to fix the above and i'll be happy to!
