  1. I went with an PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal. Booked The Venetian at $187 per night. Thanks for all the insight!
  2. Thank you again! Those are both of interest. Just need to decide on North vs South Strip. One last question for now - I have looked at the hotwire and price hotel lists for Nevada. Just curious how often those are updated? I noticed my browser periodically gave me notifications that the post had been updated, and I was wondering if it was an automated thing when people post their wins, or if it's a somewhat latent list?
  3. They are all of interest, but once I factor in taxes and resort fees, I think they're all going to push me into the $500 range unfortunately. I'm certainly not trying to make this too complicated. Wondering if bidding will be appropriate in this case? Only trouble is I don't want to get stuck at the Trump or Vdara with no casino and I know that is a good possibility, right?
  4. Thank you! Apologies for not putting the two posts in the same thread. Any suggestions on bidding or using Hotwire. I'd like to stay under $400 including tax and resort fees. I'm willing to go down to 4.5/4 stars as well if absolutely necessary.
  5. Does anyone have any ideas on what hotels these might be? Date of travel: 8/14-8/16/2015 Priceline Express Deals Las Vegas Strip South Area Casino Hotel Stars: 4* Score: 8.0/10.0 Amenities: Parking, business center, wifi, pool, casino, fitness center Price: $158/night Bed Choice Available: 1 king or 2 quieen beds ($158) or Queen Bed ($168) <--If I chose the first option, does that not guarantee a king bed? My guess: Monte Carlo?? Las Vegas Strip South Area Casino Hotel Stars: 5* Score: 8.0/10.0 Amenities: Business Center, Restaurant, Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Casino Price: $193/night Bed Choice Available: Terrace 1-bedroom ($193), studio, studio with Fountain View, Nonsmoking room with fountain view, terrace 1 bedroom with breakfast per stay no consecutive stays My guess: Cosmopolitan?? Las Vegas Strip North Area Casino Hotel Stars: 5* Score: 8.0/10.0 Amenities: Free Parking, Business Center, Restaurant, Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Casino, Fitness Center Price: $188/night Bed Choice Available: No choice My guess: Encore at Wynn??
  6. Good evening, I am planning a trip to Las Vegas from 8/14-8/16. This is a trip for me and my significant other, and will be our FIRST trip together out of town, so I really want to get the best option possible (don't we all?). I'm not sure which option will be best for my criteria, so any assistance and feedback on BOTH Priceline and Hotwire are appreciated. Details: Dates: 8/14-8/16 Travelers: 2 Beds: 1 (we don't want 2 beds) - King Prefereable, size not a dealbreaker Required amenities: casino, pool Star rating: 5 Budget: Out the door, I'd like to stay under $400, including taxes and resort fees. I know not to expect a certain hotel - that's the purpose of these two booking sites - but I do know that I want to avoid a hotel with no casino or pool. Are there any additional details I'm missing? Thanks so much in advance!
