  1. Anniversary is Oct. 1, so still would like to visit around that time frame. Didn't know if early Sept. would be any cheaper. I really would like to stay around $1000-1100 for the four nights. I'm not too picky, but don't want to be stuck in a hole in the wall place either so I'm hesitant to choose 3*. Like I said, I don't know anything about NYC so I'm kinda going in this blind. Is staying in Long Island City very inconvenient?

  3. Is there a cheaper time to travel there? If I could change airfare somewhat, what are the ideal dates (after August)? Also what districts are the best to stay in? South central park? Midtown, TS? Upper East or West?
  4. Hello, I am going to NYC for an anniversary 9/29-10/3. Have never done PL bidding before. I don't know anything about the City, and therefore, not sure where to stay. i would like at least a 4* hotel, trying to stay under $1000 total. I have a hotel in Long Island City as a backup but would really like to stay IN the City. Thanks for any strategies
