Hello, Asking for help on 9/11-9/13, NYC Grand Central Area, 4+ Hotel I am looking for a decent 4+ hotel to stay from 9/11 - 9/13 this year in NYC near Grand Central Station area. The location can be flexible inside Manhattan, but better to be closer to Grand Central. My budget is up to $800 but not limited to it if the deal is pretty good. I would spend $400 per night for an impressive room than $300 for a mediocre room. I need a free cancellation option even if it is more expensive since the trip is flexible. The hotel I have in mind is Westin Grand Central, and the traditional room currently seems to be around $693. I am wondering if there is a way to get some discount when I am looking for a room in the specific hotel like this. Also, if there is any better options and suggestions for me. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your input. Is early to mid-September a bad time in a year to stay in NYC? It looks that there is a huge difference between the hotel price now and in September. I am wondering if this is because there is still 2 months of time left, or it is just the expensive season in NYC. $150 range is fine, and I can go up to $200 if needed, but I would like to stay in Manhattan.

Hello, I am looking for a decent hotel for Manhattan area, NY (and vicinity if the price is good) to stay from 9/9/2015 to 9/17/2015. 2 people will stay, and while anywhere in Manhattan is fine, I prefer one closer to the Broadway area. I would like to save as much as possible, and my budget is 100 per night. I am willing to pay more if the hotel is worth it. I am new here, and I would like to get some help. Thanks a lot in advance!
