  1. Thank you for your answers and support. I have tried to bid at Priceline for a few times but I didn't achieve. I have booked two hotels from hotwire for san diego and los angeles. Since the price is fixed and it is possible to read the user reviews at hotwire, it seemed more clear to use it to me. I will try to learn priceline bidding tips. My last question is; for a first time visitor what areas do you recommend at Manhattan? There are a lot of regions in there, which ones are more convenient for touristic areas?
  2. Hello, I and my wife will come to New York for 3 nights between 6-9 august. This is the first time that we will be in NY. We are lopking for a safe good hotel. I have checked hotwire and priceline. I have found a 5 star hotel at hotwire for 730 $ including tax. This hotel is probably Sofitel New york. On the other hand I found acheaper alternative on priceline. 4* hotel at Long Island city costs 468 $ including tax. The price is very attractive but I am not sure about that area and the hotel. The hotel amenities are; 8+ user rating Free internet Restaurant Business center Room assigned at checkin - sleeps two adults Do you have an idea about this hotel? Do yoi recommens LIC or do we need to look for Manhattan area? Does it worth to pay 250$ more for a hotel in the Manhattan side?
