Thank you so much for your help! You were absolutely right it was the Luna Hotel Baglioni. I used your [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link. I chose the suite, and the price for that had dropped by $4/night to $506/night. So far it looks like a pretty good deal for this 5* property in Venice. Update: After doing more research I realized since this is the first stop on our Europe trip, after an 8-ish hour flight, I wanted to guarantee which hotel I got, so I booked the specific hotel I wanted with my travel agent. I'm still planning on using Hotwire/Priceline and your better bidding links (and hopefully your priceless help) for some of our other destinations, but I will make separate posts for those as I go. Very excited by this HOTWIRE win! After bidding on what I believe to be the same hotel through PRICELINE for the past few weeks (using the advice on this site - thank you) starting at $100/night and working my way up to $350/night I still didn't win any bids. I almost took the 5* PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for the same area at $406/night (again I believe it was the same hotel based on information found on here), but decided to check out HOTWIRE as well just to compare. Originally the price showed up at $393/night, but when I clicked on it I got a blue box on the page saying the price had dropped down to $387/night. That's when I tried my chances, and won the 5* Sofitel Munich Bayerpost for 3 nights. Considering that this is during opening days of Oktoberfest and the lowest price I could get from anywhere online for this hotel was around $700/night I don't think I did too bad!!
