We are 4 people. If we are at the price we are now ($160) we'll all share a room with air beds or whatever but if we can get something like $90 or $100 we would discuss getting 2 rooms.
That's why I was trying to determine what hotel it was (honestly, I thought half of the point of this forum was for figuring out what hotel they're trying to give you, the other half for bidding tips). It appears most hotels in the area would be walkable. For instance, the one I have now could be the Hampton Inn, that would be perfect.
On a side note, any way to stop these pop-ups every time I post?
1) Nope, now I'm getting something else $90 for
Free Internet
Smoke-free rooms
Fitness center
Pool(s)
Restaurant(s)
Business center
Internet access
2) Right now the plan is for 4 of us to share a room at the Fairfield Inn for $170 because it is so close. If there's one not much further away for a much cheaper price, I would do that but I've never done the "not know the name" thing before. They would definitely balk at having to take the Metro.
I'm going to a beer festival (Savor) at the National Building Museum so I wanted something in close walking distance.

Yes, thank you. Its not the "too good" for the Metro. It's more like "so drunk when coming back that we won't want to wait for the Metro."
