Absolutely delighted at this win! I had figured out the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal was more than likely to be the New York Edition and so I took the plunge and I was right! Delighted!! Here are the details as I know it's a new one for the hotel list: 5-Star PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal Hotel 9/10 guest rating Pets allowed Free internet (In Room) Fitness centre Restaurants No smoking Business centre Its currently listed on the main page as $342 so I am so happy to get this deal especially with the shocking rate of our rubbish £GBP at the moment (say no more!)

Oh well, it was the latter of the two. The rooms are half the size and that's one of the biggest bug bears I have about hotels in NYC, but I realise that's the risk you take in booking a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal. Let's see what happens when are there. I've saved $500 on my original budget so I can't complain too much. Thank you so much for all your help whilst I made up my mind!

The Andaz 5th Ave was my original thought and that's what I got excited about. The Archer less so as the rooms are about half the size. In 2 minds what to do now! Thank you for your thoughts. Much appreciated as always.

Yep, signed up with the Rate.drop service a couple of weeks ago. I think I am being optimistic for The James or The Hyatt TS for the time of year! Will keep waiting and searching and report back! Thank you

Just had a quick look to see if anything new has come up and there is a TS property 4* with no reviews/ratings or amenities showing. All it says is bed choice available. $172 a night. Any thoughts? TIA

It's my OH 40th birthday and so looking to say downtown to have a bit of choice of restaurants, shopping, comedy clubs, nightlife. We were in NYC for NYE this year and stayed at the Hyatt TS. I don't mind TS area, but having stayed in that area so much over the last 10 years, I'd like to try the Soho/Tribeca area. Ideal budget - $250, max budget $300 before taxes etc. I'm fussy as anything so the quality and cleanliness of the Hyatt TS was amazing for me. TIA
