  1. Hi Again, Well I got to my $150 limit on Priceline with no luck. I actually found the Lebua State Tower on Hotels.com for $141/night. That's a fantastic deal for that hotel so that's where we'll be staying. Thanks again for all of your help and suggestions!
  2. Hi all, I re-bid this morning at $135 with the same requirements - 5*, riverside. Still no luck. I did notice the Peninsula is the only 5* in this area. I'll continue the $5 incremental strategy until I'm at $150. After that, will look at booking a 4* direct, since the price range is so drastic at that level ($100 for Holiday Inn - $220 for Marriott, makes no sense to name my own price when I could end up paying much higher for Holiday Inn). Will keep you posted. Thanks again for the help! Katie
  3. We are staying 1/15-1/19/2009. I'm willing to go to about $150 per night for the riverside section if indeed they are 5*. I can't find anything in this section below at least $200 a night going through the individual sites (Banyan Tree, Shangri La, etc). I'll explore some of the other sites mentioned here as well. My one requirement in to be near the river. We have friends staying in the area and have a wedding around here as well. Would make it incredibly convenient to be near all of them. Will happily use the PRICELINE link to start a new bid under my husband's login. Thanks all!
  4. I first bid $105 for a 5* in Riverside section of Bangkok. Was rejected, re-bid today at $120. Rejected again. Any advice? I don't want to move sections of town or star level (don't like either of the 4* hotels). Thanks for any help!
  5. Thanks Blindman! I actually also just noticed I put Laundry on the list twice (still recovering from my NO trip maybe?) You may want to update on the hotel list page, there may be some people who count the amenities first and then read the specifics later (if they're lazy like me).
  6. Sorry, forgot to include amenities: Pool Laundry Fitness Center Restaurant Laundry Facilities Business Center Hi Speed Internet
  7. Stayed 5/27-5/28 - $75. Nice stay, lots of construction and noise though.
  8. Just booked this for past Sunday night. It's the Astor Crowne Plaza on the corner of Canal and Bourbon. Very nice hotel but beware there is lots of construction on Canal St at the moment. The hotel even includes ear plugs in the room.
  9. Dates - 7/28-7/30 Amenities: Airport Shuttle Restaurant Fitness Center Laundry Facilities I'm hoping for the Doubletree Suites, but I don't think this is it. Any thoughts?
