$62 a night from 2/15/17 - 2/19/17. Better Bidding didn't have anything listed for Northeast Wichita. HOTWIRE teased me with this listing by saying the last booking was for The Inn at Tallgrass in a much better area. I won't fall for that again Hotwire! I could of saved a few dollars on PRICELINE. Hotel is currently listed for $114 a night so still a good deal. I bid on a 3* at Tysons Corner for $80 and got it on the first try. I wanted a 3 star and needed to stay in Tysons so I didn't play around with the bids. Considering the rates of Tysons Corner, this is still an excellent deal and I shaved $5 a day off last weeks deal.

If you are not in a rush, you don't necessarily have to up your bid. I bid on a group of hotels one day and got rejected and the next day I won the bid for $30 less a day. Good Luck.

YES! bor1980 gave me hope when I saw their post. I had been trying for 4 consecutive days to land a 4 star hotel in MTE, MTE, MTS, CPS with no luck up to $160. After seeing bor1980's post I tryed MTE for $120 and Priceline offered me a rebid for $22 extra. I closed out my browser (partially excited) and reopened it and entered in my request again except adding MTW with MTE and bid $130 and I was awarded the bid. Good luck to the next lurker out there fustrated with their bids, be patient and it will pay off. I had refused to go higher than $160 and time was on my side.

I tryed again today. I went up up $150 on MTW. MTE, CPS for a 4 star and got nothing. I then bid up to $130 for a 3 star on MTW, MTE & CPS and got nothing. Will try again tomorrow.

I am not surprised after all it is car dependant Long Island. I am spending one night here because I am originally from Long Island and looking to check out my old stomping grounds. I am trying to fill in 4 days in New York City but I didn't get my bids yesterday.
