This 3* All Suite in the Port Everglades area is a Hot Wire error. It isn't in the Port Everglades area and it took some effort for me to get my money back from them.
This property is the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport and Cruise Port address 4801 Anglers Avenue, which is actually southwest of the airport, so not in the Port Everglades area.
I asked them to correct the area of this property in mid March and it hasn't been updated yet.
Today I booked this hotel. Currently showing an 85% approval rating. Amenities; Free Parking, Free Internet, Pet Friendly, Restaurant, Indoor Pool, Pool, Airport Shuttle, Smoke Free, Fitness Center.
I used to bid the Intercontinental through Priceline, but they have upgraded the Hyatt to 4* on Priceline. I don't know why, I think the Intercontinental is much better. I don't want to place an Intercontinental caliber bid and end up with the Hyatt. When the Hyatt was a 3* I could get it for about $30 a night, but the Intercontinental usually require $70-$100, so I try to stick with Hotwire because it's easier to get the hotel I want. I thought the hotel list used to list the Intercontinental as a Customer Favorite, but now it doesn't. I've booked this a couple times before but now I don't remember.
Of the choices listed in your post I would suggest the Yankee Trader. Make sure you do not get the Holiday Inn, it is not a desireable property. I stayed there last February because I wanted beach front before a cruise and I will now stick to the 17th Street area. I have stayed at the Hyatt Pier 66 and the Reneissance and would recommend either. Others like the Embassy Suite. Have a great cruise this fall!
