  1. Hi All, Last year I've used this website for booking two fantastic hotels in both San Francisco and Orange County. For our upcoming trip September next year, we are again trying to use hotwire for some great deals. We will be travelling with 4 adults to San Francisco, arriving on Labor Day (9/5) and deparing after two nights on 9/7. To reduce costs, and since we won't be staying that much time on the room, we'd like to have one room with two queen beds. Our budget is around 250 USD - 275 USD a night, and with this in mind, there are three options. 3,5* property 250 USD/night Amenities: - Free internet - Boutique hotel - Fitness Center - Restaurant(s) - Business Center - Internet Access - Accessible for the visually impaired - Accessible for the hearing impaired - Accessible path of travel - In room accessibility - Accessible bathroom - Accessible parking - Roll in Shower My guess for this property would be the Best Western Tuscan Inn, because of the lack of a pool and the property being a Boutique hotel. But I would really like to know your thoughts about this one. 4* property 215 USD/night Amenities: - Free Internet - Pet Friendly - Boutique Hotel - Fitness Center - Pool(s) - Restaurant(s) - Business Center - Self Service Laundry - Internet Access - Accessible for the bisually impaired - Accessible for the hearing impaired - Accessible path of travel - in room accessibility - accessible bathroom - accessible parking - Roll in Shower Could this be the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf hotel? And the final property I'm looking at: 4* property 273 USD/Night Amenities: - Free internet - Pet friendly - Smoke Free rooms - Fitness Center - Business Center - Internet Access - Accesible for the hearing impaired - Accesible for the visually impaired - Accesible path of travel - In room accessibility - Wheelchair accesible - Accessible bathroom - Accesible parking - Roll in shower I actually have no idea about this property. It could be several in my opinion, perhaps the Zephyr Hotel? Any help is much appreciated!! Thanks!
  2. Thanks again for the fast response! We went ahead and booked the 111 USD/night property. It indeed turned out to be the Hyatt Regency Hotel!! I used the HOTWIRE links on this site and even got an extra 20 USD discount on the entire booking. I am very happy with this hotel and although this hotel means the end of our trip, we are looking forward to staying here! I just checked the hotel's website and the lowest rate I can find is 663 USD for the entire stay, meaning we just got a 40% discount. This HOTWIRE buy concludes our trip to the United States, but we will definitely use hotwire and betterbidding.com again!!!
  3. Thanks for the reply, these are the two options again, with full amenities: Option 1 - Original price: 185 USD/night - Hotwire price: 111 USD/night Amenities: - Pet friendly - Pool(s) - Business Center - Golf Nearby - access. visually impaired - access. path of travel - access. bathroom - roll-in shower - Fitness Center - Restaurant(s) - Internet Access - Tennis nearby - access. hearing impaired - in room accessibility - wheelchair acces. - Access. parking Option 2 - Original price: 139 USD/night - Hotwire price: 98 USD/night Amenities: - Fitness Center - Restaurant(s) - Internet Access - Access. hearing impaired - in room accessibility - access. parking - Pool(s) - Business Center - access. visually impaired - access. path of travel - access. bathroom - roll in shower Thanks again!
  4. After getting a succesfull hotwire win on a property in San Francisco, we would like to use HOTWIRE again to book a hotel at the end of our trip in Los Angeles/Anaheim. Check in will be on the 1st of March, and check out will be on the 4th of March, a total of 3 nights. The room will be occupied by two adults. Because we would like to visit Disneyland, the area we're focussing on right now is "Anaheim - Disneyland South". I seem to get different results using the Bidding.helper tool, and using the hotwire website. The website shows 2 4* properties for an acceptable price. I will post the amenities of both hotels: 1st option - Original price: USD 555 - Hotwire Price: USD 404 Amenities: - Pet friendly - Pool(s) - Restaurant(s) - Fitness Center - Business Center - Internet Access - Golf Nearby - Tennis Nearby 2nd option - Original price: not listed - Hotwire Price: USD 373 - Fitness Center - Pool(s) - Restaurant(s) - Business Center - Internet Access My best guess for the 1st option would be the Hyatt Regency Orange County hotel, for which 404 USD total would be a great price, considering the cheapest price to book directly with the hotel is 664 USD. I would be a bit bummed out if the hotel turns out to be the Hilton Anaheim, because booking through the Hilton site would be about the same price. I don't really have a clue on the 2nd option. Thanks in advance for any help! Tom
  5. We've just decided to book trough Hotwire and go with the 3,5 star hotel. It indeed turned out to be the Best Western Plus Tuscan Inn!! These were the amenities showed: - Free Internet - Pet Friendly - Boutique - Restaurant - Business - Hi-speed internet - Blind accessible - Deaf accessible - Room accessible - Travel accessible - Bathroom accessible - Handicaped parking - Roll-in shower I also used the 10 USD discount code "thanks10". The total for this booking is: 635 USD. The hotel would charge 834,31 USD for the same stay, using BW rewards discount. Without this discount, they would charge 927 USD. I am more than happy with my choice!! Thanks for the help and advice!
  6. Thanks for the quick response! It is weird, looking at hotwire now, the price of the property I was looking at dropped to 159 USD. I've never stayed at the Radisson, but it looks like a nice hotel. We also thought about staying at the Best Western Plus Tuscan Hotel, which his slightly lower rates than the Sheraton on their booking website. Looking at the next amenities, I think this might be the Tuscan for around 170 a night: - 3,5 star rating - Free internet - Pet friendly - Boutique hotel - Restaurant(s) - Business Center - Internet Access - Acc. for visually impaired - Acc. for hearing impaired - Acc. path of travel - Acc. parking (I can't seem to copy/paste the text from the "see more" tab in the trip summary) Our budget is around 700 USD for the total of 3 nights. Too bad the Sheraton isn't available for now, but I wouldn't mind staying anywhere else. The first offer for presumably the Radisson seems like a good option, but if the hotel with the amenities mentioned above is indeed the Tuscan, that would be or first choice! After some more searching, like you mentioned, this one seems to be the Hyatt Hotel, because of the laundry services which no other hotel seems to offer: - 4 star rating - Pet friendly - Pool(s) - Self Serice laundry - Restaurant(s) - Roll in shower - Acc. parking - Acc. path of travel - Acc. hearing impaired - Acc. visually impaired - Fitness Center - Business Center This would right now be about 760 USD including taxes, which is a steal for this hotel. (and our absolute max budget!)
  7. Goodafternoon! This is my first time using hotwire to book a hotel for our next trip to San Francisco next year, and I after reading on this website and using the available tools I think I have identified the hotel hotewire is offering me, but being a first time user I would like to run my thoughts by seasoned hotwire users! ;) The dates I am looking for: Check in: 10 february 2015 Check out: 13 february 2015 (3 nights stay for 2 adults) Area: Fisherman's Wharf Area. The one I am looking at: 3* hotel Fisherman's Wharf Area $199 / night Amenities: - Free internet - Pet Friendly - Smoke Free rooms - Fitness Center - Pool(s) - Business Center I can't seem to find the same offer with hotwire easy view. The "smoke-free Rooms" tips me off that this should be the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf hotel. However, this is a 4* hotel according to the list. Also during my previous stay here, there was only free wifi in the hotel lobby and not in the rooms. If this really is the Sheraton hotel, that would be great! I've stayed here in 2010 en 2011 en I really liked the hotel. Currently prices offered through the Sheraton website are quite steep at 297 incl. taxes/night. Also, one newbie question; are all the taxes (tourism tax, city tax etc..) included in the price hotwire offers? I assume this is the case, but just to be sure. Thanks in advance for any help!! Tom
