  1. Ok, thank you for your feedback! Which one of the 3 options would you pick if you would be booking?
  2. The Yotel looks good, I think its just a bit expensive for it. But I know that will probably be my best option right now. I know you can never know for sure, but what is your feeling: Would I be able to get a better deal if I wait a couple of days longer and book a refundable hotel as a backup? I am also seeing a 3,5* in the Times Square Area for 182$. Full amenities are: Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower What do you think would that be? Or on Priceline Express a 4* in the MSG Area for 191$ with Restaurant Fitness Center Business Center Thank you!!!
  3. Thank you for your feedback, when I looked up train tickets I saw that but It is really helpful to have that confirmed! I went through the bidding process, but unfortunatley wasnt succesful. Could you please help me with the next steps? I would rather extend the zones than increasing the budget. Thanks again so much!
  4. Just to confirm, the rebidding zones are Coney Island and Greenpoint Williamsburg? Thank you, Sabrina
  5. Awesome, thank you! Yes, the Hudson for me alone is also fine. Just as a reference, what hotels do you see on Hotwire you would recommend? Thanks again, Sabrina
  6. Thank you! I think I will go with the 2 nights stay. What options could you recommend for that? Thanks so much, Sabrina
  7. Hi, after you helped me find such an amazing hotel deal last time, I am very much hoping on your help again :-). I need to go to Boston for business, but I am able to spend a short time in New York before. I will be on my own, so unfortunately the costs of a room will be high for a single person. It will be a short visit to New York and I will not spend a lot of time in the hotel, so I will not need a lot of amenities. But I am looking for a safe and clean room, in a 3,5* hotel and upwards. My arrival date is fixed with Wednesday, April 22. I am either leaving Friday or Saturday April 24 or 25, depending on the costs. I am very open on all areas in Manhattan, but it should be Manhatten. Preferred areas would be: -Midtown West -MSG -ESBA -CPS A hotely by the Grand Central station would actually be great, as I will be leaving from there. But I am really also open to the other areas, if it is a great deal. I am also open to Hotwire and Priceline. Since I am alone, I would prefer knowing which hotel it is and Hotwire, unless I can get a way better deal on Priceline. The last time we got the W New York for 160$, I would be looking for a deal like that. I know if varies a lot by date though. Maximum should be around 180$ a night. Today is a Hotwire Sale going on, so if possible I would love to book right away. Thanks so much again, Sabrina
  8. For us it might be a "once in a lifetime"-meal, not even a "once a year"-meal, so we do not worry too much about the price of the meal. But sometimes the price for traditional meals isnt even the most deciding. If anything comes to your mind, we would be very thankful ;-).
  9. Thank you, we cant wait for those bagels :-)!! If I might be so bold, we would really be very thankful for one more recommendation. We are looking for a restaurant where we can have a traditional, fantastic Thanksgiving menu. Turkey, stuffing, gravy, the full deal :-). Do you know something? Thanks again!!!
  10. Yay, we made it!! Booked the W New York on Hot.wire for 167$ per night. I tried Price.line until 160$, but wasn't successful, so we went for the W. Very happy with it. Thank you again, you helped make our stay great!!
  11. Then we would also prefer to leave the MTE out, as well as CPS. With the W we have a really good alternative which we would then rather take. Could you please also include the booking infos for the W, as I want to try and book the hotel right away, In case the priceline is not successful. I cant thank you enough for all your support!
  12. If we can get a 4* Hotel at a maximum of 160$ at priceline per night in the follwoing area, we would go for that. -Midtown West -Midtown East (or wa sthere also one hotel which you didnt recoommend) -MSG -ESBA -CPS would also be great, but we do not want the Hudson Hotel and I think this is in there If not, we would like to book the W New York. Could you please help me identify it? The Warwick or NY Hilton Midtown was not in the offers right? As you, we did like the Affinia Dumont better, but the price difference made us go for the W New York, which also sounds great. Thanks so much again!!
  13. Thanks so much, those are great recommendations and help a lot. Would you think we would get a better deal on priceline? If not, which one would the W New York, The Lexington and the Affinia be on Hotwire, as I see cant find the prices on Hotwire?
  14. Thank you for your answer!! The better quote is more important for us I think, as long as we do not need to have a too big of a set back regarding location/value. The W New York and Lexington already look like a great option. Again, we are very grateful, if you could tell us what you would go for, as we havent been there in a long time or ever :-). The better rate is more important for us, but not if we need to walk 15 min every day to the subway station for example or have a bad room. And the costs would be just slighty more. Thanks again!
  15. HI all, we are 2 couples and are looking for 2 rooms with a great location for sightseeing and exploring the city. All help would be great, as we have been in NY 10 years ago and for one couple its the first visit to the US! I already startet looking on Hotwire and saw the following offer: 1.) Midtown East Area - Boutique Hotel 4* 168$ per night Amenities include: Pet friendly Boutique Hotel Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Spa Services 2.) Midtown East Area Hotel 4* Hotel 178$ per night Amenities include: Indoor pool(s) Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Tennis Nearby 3.) Empire State Building Area 149$ per night 4* Amenities include: Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Self service laundry Internet access Accessibility Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom 4.) Empire State Bulding Area 4* 212$ per Night (would prefer to have a chepaer hotel, unless this is really great and recommended) Amenities include: Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Spa Services 4.) East Village - Lower East Side Hotel 3,5* 185$ Amenities include: Pet friendly Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Could you please help us with identifying the hotels and also which one would you recommend? Or would you recommend trying Priceline? Thanks so much for your help!!
  16. Hi, we are traveling to NY for Thanksgiving and are already extremely excited. We are staying from Nov 26 to Dec 2nd, so 6 nights. Dates are not flexible, as the flight is already booked. We are 2 couples, wanting 2 seperate rooms, or a big suite, where the rooms are seperate. We would be very happy on a help with the hotel search. Since the Thanksgiving week is asking for some early wake-ups (Parade, Black Friday), our priority is a good location and to be close to a subway. A hotel on the parade route would be amazing, but I think those are not affordable. We are very happy for your location recommendations. Budget should be around 200 Dollar per night, as for everyone, to save on the hotel would leave more for all the sightseeing :-). It should be 4* hotels, unless you say also 3.5 Stars offers good hotels. We are open for Hotwire and Priceline. Thanks for your help in advance!
