I finally booked through Fairmont hotels. Since I am a member of their loyalty program, I got a rate of 149$ per night. Thanks to everyone for their help!

Thanks Aaron! I was hoping to get the Fairmont because I have a complimentary night with them so it would be nice to not have to change hotels. Kimptons are usually very nice hotels, and 121$ is a good price, but I prefer not to change hotels. Thanks again!

My Miami thread is now up to date! I entered the new date and it was still 162$. I got a special rate of 149$ since I am a member of Fairmont's president club. It is cheaper to book from them than Hotwire. I'll come back this week and let you know what happened with my booking. Thanks again!!

Hi.....I may be a little late but Thereuare asked me to close out my thread so here it is.....I finally went the Priceline bidding route and won the Courtyard for 85$.

Thank you so much for the answer and the trick about using the link. I saw the whole list of amenities with the green button next to the listing. While researching everything this morning, I saw that I will probably have to push back my dates a week and, on those dates, it is less expensive booking with Fairmont. It is still up in the air if I will be using HOTWIRE on the 1st or Fairmont directly on the 8th. You are bringing me back to 2010...that was a way back!!! I looked up my account and saw that I finally bid on PRICELINE and got the Courtyard for 85$. Thank you again...have a nice day!

Hi....I am leaving for a cruise from the port of Miami on February 28th and am arriving in Miami on February 27th. I am looking for 2 hotel rooms since I am going with a friend on the cruise and started looking on Hotwire with the list from betterbidding. The problem is that I found a hotel for that night but it is not the list. It is going for 103$ in Downtown Miami, which is a good price, and lists 8 amenities from suite, near beach, smoke free, exercice room, pool, restaurant, business center and laundry facilites. I googled suite hotels in downtown Miami and have come up in that area with Fortune house hotels. Can it be that hotel? On Hotwire, they are talking about Holiday Inn, Radisson and Doubletree. If anyone could help with this one, I sure would appreciate it! Thanks in advance for the answers!
