  1. Hi! I'm in the early stages of researching hotels in New York. I'm going 7/13/17 - 7/23/17. I have never been to NYC, so ideally I'd like to stay in Manhattan for the right price. I looked on Priceline and it looks like I can save about $500 over the course of 10 days if we stay in Long Island City. But I'm guessing I'll probably spend that on Uber and Lyft fares alone. Do you have any helpful traveling and vacation advice? I want to stay at $200 and under per night, taxes and fees included.

    Thanks!

  2. I am going to California with my 7 year old son next week. We're visiting DisneyLand, Universal Studios, Hollywood and we want to hang out on the beach. I always use Priceline, but I've never used Hotwire. There is a 4 star boutique hotel for $108/night. Would you have a clue which hotel it is? And would it be within an hour commute to all of the above destinations? Thanks!

  3. Thank you for replying! I don't care about the star rating. However, if it's below a 3 star, I'd want the hotel to be at least an average of 8 on reviews. I typically prefer Hampton Inn, Country Inn & Suites or Holiday Inn Express. It really doesn't matter which city we stay in either. I used to live in Baton Rouge when I went to LSU years ago. So if there is a better deal around Baton Rouge, we can always make a day trip to New Orleans to sight see. My first choice would be to find a nice hotel in the New Orleans suburbs. Thanks for your help!

  4. I am trying to find the best hotel for my 7 year old and I to stay at from November 6th through the 9th. We're going to the LSU/Alabama game on the 8th. We can either stay in New Orleans or Baton Rouge or somewhere in between. I want to stay in a 7+ or higher rated hotel for under $100. Any advice on what location to bid on?

    Thanks
