  1. Not an area listed in the hotwire area of Cape Cod, but when you type in the city in the bidding helper it brings up other options that are not listed in the cape cod section. FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Beachfront hotel, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry, Internet access, Wheelchair accessible Not a huge savings from the hotel website ($139), but took a risk. Interestingly I just went back to bidding helper to copy amenities and the price dropped to 128 just minutes after booking?
  2. Quick, Painless, Decent Reviews, Used the connection, matched amenities description life is good.
  3. Rate per night $216 before taxes and parking. Amenities listed are the same eight I listed in my earlier post: Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Pet Friendly Booked through the HOTWIRE link here, thanks again. Mike
  4. Well I must say curiosity got the better of me. I probably should have played it safe and gone with a lesser priced known entity, but.... I had to find out what the hotel was, because if I hadn't I would have gone crazy wondering what great deal I gave up. Instead I was correct in that one of the hotels that this site lists as 4.5 stars must have been upgraded to 5 stars. The hotel I got was listed as a five star boutique and is the Liberty Hotel. I am sure it will be a great place to stay but I question the TripAdvisor rating that Hotwire lists as a solid excellent rating while TripAdvisor actually has it listed as the #38 hotel out of 81 with a rating of very good. Let me know what information I can add to improve the listing for others as I greatly appreciate the service you offer even though I don't travel a lot. Thanks - Mike
  5. I'm not sure about that. Their are 2 different 5 stars listed for downtown when I check the listing amenities under the green box for the first hotel, described as "5 star downtown hotel" it lists: FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Because of the wheelchair accessible I believe this to be the Langham as the Intercontinental has the same listing other than it doesn't list wheelchair accessible. The second hotel is listed as "5 star boutique and under the green box only lists the following amenities: FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access Still puzzled but believe this is neither the Langham or the Intercontinental, Is it possible that one of the 4.5 star boutiques has been upgraded? Either the Onyx, the Liberty, or The Ames? Thanks, I realize this is lots of info.
  6. As per Nashville, I never ended up spending time there, so I didn't find out if that was the hotel or not. Sorry for not posting that info 4 years ago:(
  7. We didn't end up staying in Nashville, so I never discovered what hotel this was. Sorry for not closing the posting.
  8. Cant find a listing for a five star boutique in the downtown Boston area at all. Looking for June 19-22. Amenities listed include: Boutique hotel, Business center, Fitness center, Free internet, Pet friendly, Restaurant(s), Smoke free rooms. Also lists a 100% tripadvisor satisfaction of 13 reviews. Cant find it on tripadvisor either. Thanks - Mike
  9. Looking for some help identifying this hotel in Nashville for 4/8 in Airport BNA area listed at $55 "Super Savings" Amenities listed: Smoke Free, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet, Golf, Tennis. Thanks in advance - Mike
  10. Just booked the LePavillon in downtown New Orleans. Been checking prices and this was the lowest I have seen for a while. The cheapest rate the hotel had was $299/night. Amenities were as listed in the forum:Restaurant, pool, fitness, business, internet. Was going to stay on Monday 4/4, but the cost for that night was more than triple at $387 for ONE NIGHT?! So Baton Rogue will have to do for the 4th.
  11. Just needed another quick stay before a flight in the morning. Used the HOTWIRE link through this site. Holiday Inn at Elmhurst amenities read: Fitness Center, Restaurants, Business Center, Laundry Facilities, High Speed Internet, Golf Nearby and the give away - Childrens Activity Program (which is an indoor water park) Same room on Expedia was $99.50
  12. So I just booked a room using the HOTWIRE connection through this sight. I just needed an inexpensive room for my brother so he would be in town to pick us up when we land. The amenities for this 2 star hotel include airport shuttle, fitness center, and golf nearby. The thing I am most excited about is that I figured out the hotel before the purchase even though I did not see it listed here. When I selected the hotel it gave me a tripadvisor rating of 2 and 1/2 dots on over 80 customer reviews. So I went to tripadvisor, typed in Chicago and zoomed in on the O'Hare area, looked for a hotel with over 80 reviews that had that same score (there was only one), read the reviews (it's my brother. he doesn't need the Ritz) and then compared the price to Expedia (It is interesting that Hotwire was $30 + $10.94 in fees for a total of $40.94, while Expedia was $53.40+ only $6.48 in fees for a total of $59.88) still a decent savings, and I got to read some more reviews, found out about the free parking. So I got a cheap hotel for a cheaper price and I hope the new found info helps me figure out more hotels in the future.
  13. Yes indeed the hotel is in the Lahaina area and it states it has a kitchenette to go along with the full kitchen? Thanks
  14. Just booked two nights (Friday July 10th and Saturday the 11th) through the link to HOTWIRE. 3.5* that I did not see on the main list. Amenities include: Condo, Studio, Full Kitchen, A/C, In room Laundry, Pool(s), 24 Hr Front Desk, and Nearby Golf. Came up with Outrigger Aina Nalu Resorts
  15. The features listed include: Suite, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurants, Business Center, and High Speed Internet Access.
  16. Just used the HOTWIRE link to reserve the Sheraton Gateway Suites for one night. $59 plus $13.99 fees for a total of $72.99. The Sheraton sight wanted $129 plus taxes. Just a starting point for our trip to Hawaii, but the price was perfect.
  17. The race date was just announced yesterday but I couldn't get online until today. Only 9 hotels showed up as available in all of indy because the hotels will require lengthy stays and crazy prices. No 4 or 5 stars available, only 2 3*'s so I took the cheaper one. It ended up the Wyndham Indianapolis for $69.00/night + $25.90 in tax for a total of $232.90. The amenities listed where: Fitness, Pool, and Restaurant. Used the HOTWIRE connection through this wonderful website of yours, even though we need more input for Indiana. Thanks - Dietz
  18. It looks like the Embassy Suites that we stayed at is what you have. Nice new hotel, great central location. Only issue we had was the laundry facilities are minimal (2 washers/ 2 dryers) and the breakfast while still good was not what we have come to expect from embassy suites (and at certain times the wait was a little long).
  19. Sorry about the omission - yes it is the Holiday Inn - Ft. Detrick. thanks
  20. Booked through the hotwire connection here for 3* listing in Frederick. It appears that this is the only 3* in the area. $52.00/night x2 = $104 + $11.52 tax = $115.52. Amenities listed: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Laundry, Golf, and Tennis. This was for three adults and a child, so I decided not to go through priceline. Thanks - Mike
  21. Finally found the hotel I was looking for. We are partial to the embassy suites and after three weeks of checking it showed up. Embassy Suites Convention Center 3.5* Aug 5th - Aug 11th $120.00 x 6 = $720.00 + $106.05 (tax) = $826.05 Biggest giveaway was the complimentary breakfast. Also listed restaurant, laundry, fitness, pool, business, and internet. Could have gone with the Hilton Washington Towers for $107, but enjoy the seperate rooms. Used the hotwire connectionn through this website and will add a review when we return. Thanks for the great website.
  22. Looking for help with identifing this hotel as I don't see any 4*'s listed for the fairfax area. This is for 4 people from Aug 5th through Aug 11th. Fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, wireless internet, and tennis. Offered price is $125/night. A little more than the 4* (Wahington towers I think), but since it is further out I am hoping I might offset the cost with a reduction in add on fees (parking, etc.). Any help would be appreciated. thansk - mike.
  23. I know I can go through hotwire, but maybe its the gambler in me. I am looking for a 3.5* or 4* hotel in DC area for August 5th through the 11th. Dont really care about the smaller amenities other than two beds. Hotwire has what I believe is the Hilton towers at $107 (for 3 adults and 1 child) for this time frame. Any chance on finding a hotel that consistently give rooms with 2 beds on priceline for the above dates at a lower price? Would it make sense to make a reservation for the first night, call about the two beds, then bid on the other five nights? thanks - mike (first time poster)
