I wonder if I could've gotten this cheaper...I started with 4.5 stars at $230, add nearby areas, no wins. Then I dropped to 4 stars, TS only and forgot to drop the price! Anyway, I think $230 is pretty good for this time of year.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking around Times Square, hoping for $250 range. I saw a winning bid for $178 for TS right around our travel time. Guess that was bought earlier. I could expand the area- we are going to a concert at Madison Square Garden. Not sure what the hotels are like in that area. We love walking, and don't mind taking subways, so distance is not a problem. I'm afraid to drop down to a three star because I know one of those is the POD and they have very small rooms, but suppose we could hack it for 2 nights to save some $$. Bottom line is I better do it now, right?

I want to stay at a 4 or 5 star hotel, and wondered if I wait until a few days before our stay if I would get a better deal. Any help? This is my first time using this...
