Bidding for a 4* hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego. Bids of $90, $96, and $102 were all rejected. Restarted with $100, $106, and $112 rejected before $120 bid was accepted. Taxes and fees were $41.72 for a total of $281.72. Turned out to be a perfect location for the activities I had planned for a birthday getaway trip for my wife.

Prices generally seemed to be elevated due to a Jason Aldean concert that night just the other side of the airport. Bids of $46 and $50 were rejected prior to the winning bid of $54.
