I tried $60-80 for 2.5 stars $60-100 for 3 stars and $80-100 for 3.5 stars Finally decided just to try $90 for 2.5 stars and glad I got the BW Plus Garden Inn vs. the other BW. Whew!

Just got 4* Dana Point Marriott for $151 for 7/27-29, 2007. I did 3* and it upgraded me for free to 4*. I already tried $101 - $141. Maybe you're date has more availability. - lh

I actually put it in for $151 for 3* in Dana Point and here's what I got: Congratulations, you got your price of $151 for a hotel room, and we've upgraded your hotel quality level to a 4-star hotel! Was hoping for 3* Double Tree, but now I got Marriott 4*! I tried $101 - $141 already. - lh

This was my first bid so you can try to go lower. I think it's due to the dates. I did do multiple bids (up to 110) for July 4th weekend but there was no success. I decided to move out weekend back a week. It paid off.

Just got OMNI hotel from 7/7/06 - 7/9/06. Wanted July 4th weekend but all booked. Guess we'll celebrate 1 year anniversary a week later. =)
