Hawaii Superferry is excited to announce that they are launching on Sunday, August 26, with a special $5 fare for travel between August 26 through September 5, 2007.

Bid $100 for a resort, rejected
$80 for 4*, rejected.
Last minute booking to take advantage of the Hawaii Superferry $5 promotional fares.
For anyone who is interested, I got an unrenovated room.
However, even understanding that the hotel is in renovation, and although it meets the criteria shown at Priceline, I would rate this (pre-renovation) room as no more than a 3*
Thanks.
For everyone's information, Priceline posted my win as Travelodge Monterey Carmel, (on Fremont.)
OK. I got 2* Travelodge (NOT downtown) for $70. First bid, (today) 2* in Pacific Grove.
SAVINGS BARN, including all my above bids. Does the board get something per click, or winning bid ??
(Now, should this be a new post? I admit I don't really read the rules, as I think I'm net savvy enough not to be banned.)
2.5* Salinas, $60 ... 8/7/07 - 8/8/07 Rejected
Just in case anyone here want to stay there. :)
Are you interested in bidding for a 2* in Monterey?
Yes.
But, the Travelodge Downtown is offering $113 direct from its own website.
What is your maximum bid at each star level?Do you have a back-up plan/reservation anyplace?
I don't really have a back up plan. I might just stay in a nearby town.
I don't have a max bid in mind, just trying to get the best deal.
The Casa Munras website has no availability on my night. What is happening in town ???
thanks for the help,.
2* Monterey (All areas), $50 ... 8/7/07 - 8/8/07 Rejected
$50 ... 8/7/07 - 8/8/07 Rejected
2.5* Monterey (All areas), $100 8/7/07 - 8/8/07 Rejected
Monterey seems to be a hard area to get cheap rooms.
Do you recall the amount of your highest previously rejected bid?
I'm not sure about it. But I think it was $87, and $74 before that.
Used the repeat bidding procedure I learned here by adding zones without the star level I wanted.
Thanks.
After the fact, I checked the website. This hotel is under renovation at this time.
Thanks for this Marriott Airport report !!
I bid $50 for two nights checking in August 2, 2007 and got a room also!
Checking with the Marriott Website after the fact shows that the hotel is under renovation at this time.
