  1. Hi so finally I booked through a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal, $239, 4Star, downtown I ended up, in the financial district - Club Quarters Hotel - World Trade Centre. I had to compromise a bit due to budget restrictions, but very happy all in all thank you so much for your help! You guys suggested downtown in the first place and I wasn't having it but that's where I ended up, and looks like a nice hotel
  2. Ok perfect, advice noted What I'll do then is ill book one night as planned using the links you guys provided above as I'm on my own the first night And then for the remaining 3 nights when my friends come I'll book through HOTWIRE Might need some help identifying Hotwire hotels so will post back after I've booked the first night
  3. Hi thanks for the help. Just a question, if we booked a 5 star hotel through priceline would it make it more likely that they could give us a room with an extra bed? It's seems a lot more expensive on hotwire searching for 3 people, I think all 3 of us might be willing to risk booking a 5 star through priceline and then ring beforehand to see if could ensure two beds? Or is that a bad idea?
  4. Thank you so much for your help! Sorry to be a pain! Our plans have changed we now need a hotel for 3 people! So 20th September to 24th September. 4 nights, 3 people. They don't mind the same areas preferences as I have above, but we could probably do with 2 queen beds. So sorry to change again, we did have accord action sorted but has fallen through. We could maybe increase budget to $250 a night including taxes? Will it be possible to get rooms for 3? Thanks! The same areas as above are fine, 4 star etc. if you could help with some links again then I can get bidding tonight and report back progress!
  5. Ah fantastic. So in that case i don't mind including MTW, TS, Chelsea, MSG, MTE. I do like the sound of Chelsea! Walking 10 mins or so to the subway isnt too much of an ordeal for that one night. And I do like the sound of Chelsea!
  6. Hi thanks for that. That's v reasonable, any advice on what areas to aim for to attempt to get the nicest hotel! Lol. I'm not too fussed but prefer central, but if there's a particular area I should aim for then that would be good to know, thanks I forgot to add that 4* is what I'll go for
  7. Hi have updated the Las Vegas thread - apologies as plans have changed Ill certainly use the above links I was hoping to find somewhere for $200 including taxes. Any help appreciated! And thanks for the info regarding using the currencies i hadn't seen the drop downs!
  8. Hi so sorry my plans changed! I had to cut off this Las Vegas leg for this trip and am only going to NYC now. So sorry after all the help above!!
  9. Hoping you guys can help me out! I need to find somewhere in NYC on Saturday 20th September Regarding areas, ideally would like Manhattan itself rather than going further out to Brooklyn and such like, but not too fussed on areas within reason! I have to bid in pounds, as im from the UK and it would be fantastic if i could find somewhere on budget of between £100-£150. Would it be possible to find something 4 star? The nearer to 100 the better but if thats not possible i could stretch to £150 - including taxes and fees Hoping you kind geniuses could help me out!
  10. Thanks so much for the info, no staying at a few places doesnt bother me so much Any ideas which dates to split by? And which areas to target when? Thanks again!
  11. Hi thanks for the replies Well I dont mind $50 without taxes and fees, strip south would be preferred but id consider east? If you guys thought I could find somewhere nice? I wanted to be close as possible to the South but a short walk im not too bothered about so wasnt sure which areas to include!
  12. Hi I'd like some help with a strategy to stay ideally Strip South 9/11/14 till 9/22/14 Las Vegas. I wouldn't mind 3 star and above, but my budget ideally would be $50 dollars a night, is this even possible or am I way off? I wasn't sure what the best strategy would be any help would be appreciated I'm coming from the uk and wanted to see if could get the best value possible. Suppose could stretch a bit higher. I have stayed strip east at the Desert Rose but wasn't sure if could get that for this price or anywhere else!
