Yes I am basically looking for a cheap alternative to living in Manhattan. My max budget is $115/night. I do not have a car, and so I will rely heavily on public transport to get me around. I prefer a safer neighbourhood, which is why I avoided Long Island City area (according to reviews, this area is pretty secluded). Which would you recommend - Super8 or Days Inn? Would purchasing the Unlimited Ride MetroCard allow me to travel to and fro from North Bergen area to Manhattan? Or would I have to purchase a separate one since it is New Jersey.
