Got the embassy Suites for 125/night. Thanks for your help.

In answer to your ?s I usuallyt go to NY 2 or 3 times a year. we travel by subway or walk mostly . Occasionally by cab. We will be spending more time at lINCOLN cENTER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE SO THE sOUTH SIDE OF cENTRAL PARK OR UPPER wEST SIDE ARE IDEAL. But we are flexible as to quality of hotel and location as longas it is clean. The best place we have stayed is Millenium UN. Price is an sissue but I have time to get the best deal possible. The Embassy suite seems to be a 3 star on priceline so I will try it at 125 and up today.

If its near a subway it wil work for me. would prefer uptown but it is not a necessity. the real question is should I bid now or wait.

Would like to stay at 4* hotel anywhere on Manhatten. Have been rejected so far up to $140. am I bidding too early?

You might try Mount Airy , NC . Not very far away.

First time bid 30 at 21/2 and then 31 at 2. 3 days later tried 32 at 21/2 33 at 2. 3 more days 34 at 21/2 35 at 2*. That went through. Went through Savings Barn.

Ended up bidding $30 2* Renton. got 2 1/2 * Hilton Garden. Used savings Barn on June 14th purchase also reported.

The thing that scares me the most is bidding a 2* and getting Queen anne. the reviews of that hotel are scary. I may just have to bid 21/2 and gamble on the parking.

I am flyinginto SEATAC on June 7 , seeing a doctor in the University area at 9 the next morning and then going to B.C.We don't want to get hung up in rush hour traffic on I-5 but would like to get a clean room cheap. We will have a rental car. where should we bid and at what level?

Thanks. I understand traffic is a bear in this area so I might stay at the comfort inn in florida city/. I understand Key Largo is an option but I am sure this is very expensive. I am thinking about it. djw

I have never been there but we are planning on going into the Everglades in April. the nearest priceline places appear to be SW miami or Dadeland. I don't have a clue what to bid or where. I have never been there. Can anyone help?
