  1. Thanks for the replys. Will try te govt rate at the HI. Our 1st choice was the Hard Rock which was $239 internet rate.
  2. Looking for a hotel to be within walking distance for a 9/28 Friday night college game. Hotel for 9/28 one night. Thanks.
  3. For 5/12 to 5/14 Sheraton downtown accepted our $95 bid. For 5/20 to 5/22 we started at $95 for a 4*, however bid was not accepted until $115. We bid in $5 increments and got the Westin downtown. Both are within walking distance to pikes market(5 or 6 blocks). Right outside the Westin is a bus stop. Busses run free most of the day in the downtown area. The Westin was nicer but free wifi was available in the lobby. The Sheraton had free wifi in the room.
  4. Thanks for the post. We are suppose to arrive 6/29 and depart on 7/2. We are flying in on a Delta buddy pass. There are only 3 daily flights from Atlanta on Delta. These are all on CRJ aircraft which hold only about 50 passengers. Since we are flying standby, I dont feel comfortable making a bid until we get our boarding passes to YOW. I have the Westin booked as a backup which I can cancel with no penalty up to 6 PM day of check in. However it is over $200US a nite. Would be nice to be able to know appox. what the Westin sets their priceline rate at. They dont seem to be involved in very many winning bids. July 1st is also my wifes birthday so I dont want to screw this up.
