  1. Looking for help with bidding or choosing a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for a 1 night NYC stay. We will are young family (2 kids under 5) travelling with grandparents so we need 2 rooms. Budget $200-$250/room. Is Times Sq the easiest locale to stay for 1 night? We are planning to visiting Amer Museum NH all day 6/26 before leave the city but it looks like hotels close by are very pricey. Looking for good hotel (4*+? or is 3*+ considered good in NYC?) No amenities needed, but would be helpful to be able to have 1 room w/ 2 double or queen beds. TIA
  2. We ended up looking I FW, USE, financial embercardo and marina. Got the da Vinci villa in marina for $190/nt plus tax which looks ok and included continental b'fast. We wanted to stay in FW but all the hotels even on express deals were out of budget.
  3. 4.5* hotel in the USE zone for $214/nite before taxes/fees - this will be out of our price range as the AUD$ is rather weak at the moment. The 3.5* or 3* would be my preference for budget. How much do you think we could get away with a 3.5* property on priceline for in Fishermans wharf, USE/W, embercardo ? thanks
  4. Thanks thereuare! The goal is CHEAPEST hotel room and not willing to go below 3*. Though in saying that if the difference between 3* and 4* was only say $15/night I'd go with 4*-5* up to a max of $200/night (incl tax). Our son is still and probably will still be in a crib for this trip (we will bring pack and play) so one bed is no issue for us - he isn't actually 2 yet. I'm not incredibly familiar with the difference between USE and USW... homeless do not bother us visually, we just need it to be SAFE i.e. unlikely to get mugged returning from dinner at 8pm, or even on the way out to breakfast or for the day at 8am! Happy to be looking at other areas as well that would fit that criterion. Willing to consider Hotwire as well.
  5. Hi, can you please assist with a biddng strategy for a minimum 3* hotel August 4-7 in San Fran - looking at Fishermans Wharf, Union Sq (something safe and close to attractions) as we are travelling with our 2 year old and will not have a car. Range $130-$199/night. thanks in advance
