Better Bidding screwed me over I was trying to book a hotel and I didn't win the bid so I used other areas that said it had a lower star rating than 4.0 so I used one that was a 3.5 star hotel and well Better Bidding didn't pay attention to detail because the hotel is now a 4 star hotel that was a 3.5 star rating. The Rancho Bernardo Inn is now a 4 star hotel and now I am screwed I was trying to get the 4.0 star hotel in Mission Valley the Marriot so I bid at 80 moved up 5 each time than used the Bernardo area because BB said it was only a 3.5 to get the Mission Valley Marriot and I won the bid for a hotel I did not want and the area I did not want because BB is not paying attention to detail. This is the last time I use BB because there job is to pay attention to detail and provide us with the current info on the hotels and there locations and rating of the stars for the hotel and we use this to bid on hotels. If this info is not accurate then it screws up everything. Ranch hotel was a 3.5 star hotel but is now a 4.0 star hotel. Great now I will have to fight with PL and the Hotel for hours to see if I can get out of this deal. Thanks BB............. last time I use PL and rely on BB for accurate information

Inquiry you have taught me how to bid. Example if I am bidding on a hotel in Las Vegas and instead of wating another 24hrs; I can bid on it again by finding another area with a lower star rating example if Nellis - Las Vegas Speedway only has a 2 star hotel I can use it to "bid again" because I am bidding on a 3.5 star hotel I only need to up the cost of 5 dollars and try agian. I appreciate your help in learning how to bid. Yet the issue now is with the Las Vegas List which differs from yours. Example I was going to bid again using Boulder Strip because it only has a 2 star hotel so I can up it again for 5 dollars but then I noticed on Price-Line it has Boulder City which you don't use. So I don't want to win a bid on some 3 1/2 star hotel because Better Biding is not accurate. The other issue here is that you have hotels listed under Strip Vicinity South when that is not even listed under there list. There are other ones as well. It seems that Priceline is getting "smarter" what they are doing is they are changing the name of there listing from "Strip Vicinity South" to "Strip South' or is it called " or just Las Vegas South.... they make it confusing because they don't want us to have the upper hand. So please "update" the Las Vegas list on the Better Bidding site so I can bid accurately and know which hotels go to which zones. Thank you!!!

We actually had a great Hotel room I contacted the manager on duty Molly who hooked me up with a great room. Since I injured my back and had limited mobility with walking she got me a close room to the front desk it was a perfect room for the price. We did good. Thanks for your help Better Bidding and we will use your PRICELINE website for all our bidding. Thanks again!

First tried 70.00 for a 31/2 star then denied then went up 3 dollars and won the bid I added Kent since it only had a 3 star hotel for it's zone. So I rebidded and won. I realize that I have been trying to bid on a Airport hotel for over a month and the prices only went down a few days before our date of arrival. We wanted a Airport hotel since we get into the Airport at 10:00 P.M. at Seattle from Tampa Florida and will be exhaustaed. I am glad I won this bid it was 73.00 + tax. The only issue that I am concerned is that people who have won bid's from this hotel from price line complained that this Hilton Hotel has 2 buildings one that was renovated in 2012 and the other one has not been updated since 1998 and people who won Priceline complained that they put all customers who won a bid from Priceline in the old wing and if you want to get a hotel in the Garden section the renovated section they will want you to pay 100+ dollars for the upgrade. The issue is that the renovated portion is a 3 1/2 star hotel but the old portion is like a 2 star hotel. So I have mixed feelings about this win. Any suggestions would be grearly appreciated. Oh so your saying that HOTWIRE does not use Trip Advisors (ratings) but I thought they did. If they don't that can explain a few things (thanks)

I looked at your list of the 3.5 hotels for Hotewire but it said on Hotwire this hotel has a 85 percent rating from Trip Advisor so I looked up all the 3 hotels on HW list you provide and none have a 85 percent rating. I understand HW rounds off example if a hotel has a rating of 83 they will round it to 85. It says its a dog friendly hotel so I thought it would be the Rose yet the Rose only has a 70 percent rating on Trip Advisor. It says its Boutigue Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Free Internet. has Restaurants. Accessible for the Blind and has a Business center. The only thing I can think of is if the 4 star hotel was dropped to a 3.5 hotel and your list has not been updated or they added new hotels to there list. Both could be a possibility. Any suggestions?

How did you bypass waiting 24 hours to rebid?

Dont want to wait the 24 hours I want a hotel in downtown Portland and for the 3.5 hotel it did not take my bid for 85 so I wanted to bid 90 yet it says select another Location. I do not know what other location to select because I do not want a hotel that is a non downtown hotel. It says then select another star yet blocks you from being able to pick 4 stars and only allows you to select a lower star. After looking at your list I want a 3.5 hotel not a 3.0 hotel. Which from your list I am trying to get the Hotel Rose because they renovating the hotel right now and it is like going to a new hote. So how can I bypass the 24 hour period and rebid now with out risking a lower star or an area I do not want to go near. Example with San Diego it is great because you can use places next to Tijuana that does not have a 3.5 hotel so you know how to work the system etc. (thanks to yourwebsite) I was able to put 2+2 together but I need help for Portland and is August 10-16 2014 to early to bid?
