  1. I went with this deal from the Hyatt Regency at McCormick Place. The Express Deal was $75 and I got it on the first bid of $60. I could have gotten for even lower. Thanks for the help. Any tips for breakfast places in Chicago, AaronJB?
  2. The 4.5* in the River North Area for $145 I mentioned earlier has appeared again and is showing only two amenities, Restaurant and Free Internet with an 8+ rating. I'm curious if anyone has an idea of what that 4.5* property could be.
  3. I'm not looking to pay too much for this night. My flight arrives late at Midway and I probably won't get to the hotel until after 11PM anyway. I'll be staying the rest of the trip in the River North area, so I thought I'd try to get something close to that, but if the price is to prohibitive, I could just stay at the Hyatt McCormick for this low rate and move to River North on Friday. I would like to stay around $150 for this night in downtown. If not, I'll go with the Hyatt. I see a 4* property in the Loop area for $145 with Internet, Pool, Fitness Center, Restaurant, 9+. Any idea what this is?
  4. Hello, I am looking for a hotel on 7/30 for one night in the downtown area. There are two Priceline Express deals that I'm looking at including a 4* at McCormick Place for $75/night which is most likely the Hyatt Regency and a 4.5* in the River North Area for $145 showing only two amenities, Restaurant and Free Internet with an 8+ rating. I'm curious if anyone has an idea of what that 4.5* property could be. I bid last night on the 4.5* property up to $102 and didn't get it. I would prefer to stay in the River North Area where my other reservations are for the weekend, but I could take the Hyatt McCormick just for the good price and then move downtown on Friday. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Edit: I just updated the listings and it seems that 4.5* property in River North for $145 is gone. There is a new one with a price of $218 now.
  5. I bought the priceline.Express Deal and it was the Four Points for $118. With taxes/fees and the 5% coupon it ended up being $145. The amenities were Free Internet in Room, Restaurant, Business Center, Fitness Center. Thanks for the help.
  6. My budget is $150 after taxes/fees. I would like to stay in a 3.5-4 star property in MSG-Convention, Midtown East, Midtown West, or Times Square Theater District. For July 1-2, the express deal is showing on MSG-Convention for a 3.5 star rated 8.0/10 guest favorite with Free Internet in Room, Restaurant, Business Center, Fitness Center. These amenities match the Courtyard TS West like you said earlier on the hotel list. I also checked on Hotwire for this date and got a 3.5 star in MSG-Hell's Kitchen for $122 with 95% approval with the amenities of Free Internet, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self-Service Laundry, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Roll-In shower. These hotels look to be the same. There is no amenity for Boutique-Hotel so I think it is not the Yotel. Usually, the Yotel has Boutique as an amenity. Reading another thread, a winner of the Yotel said the hotel had a 95% rating while this one is 95% as well. But, the Courtyard also has great ratings. I'd guess that both of them are the Courtyard TS West, but what are your thoughts? I'm hesitant about the Yotel because it looks like a futuristic, trendy type hotel and I don't like the motorized futon type beds I read about they use. I will be traveling with my father and he would not like this type of hotel at all.
  7. My budget is to pay $150 after taxes/fees. I don't really care what area it is around Times Square like 10, 11, 12, 16. I would like a 3.5 or 4 star property. I checked this on Hotwire as well and they show a deal for a 3.5 property in MSG-Hell's Kitchen at $117 while Priceline has it at $118. Is it possible that this is the same hotel using both Hotwire and Priceline at this rate? When you click on the Hotwire listing and look at the amenities it says there were 9 bookings in the last 24 hours for this listing and to book soon with the last person getting the Yotel which I'm concerned about. But, usually the Yotel would show up with Boutique hotel as one of the amenities on Hotwire while it doesn't here. If there the same hotel on both sites, which I think they might be, I don't know if I should take the express deal with the 5% coupon. I would love it if it was the Courtyard like you said earlier, but Hotwire mentioning the Yotel in the opaque part of the website concerns me for a hotel in the same star level and area.
  8. Using your Priceline link I found a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal in New York City-Madison Square Garden Convention Area for a 3.5 star property on July 1-2 for 1 night at a price of $118. It's rated 8.0+ out of 10 and is a guest favorite. It lists Free Internet in room, Restaurant, Fitness Center, and Business Center as the amenities. I don't think it's the Element or Distrikt because they are 9/10 rated, and the Staybridge doesn't have a restaurant. I'm thinking the Four Points or the Yotel. I am hesitant about the Yotel even with their good ratings so I'd be concerned if this was it. Any thoughts on what one this could be?
