Just to close out the thread. Rates were very high for this particular week but lucked out with a mobile only sale. I ended up booking Flamingo Go Room High Roller View directly with the hotel @ $75 / night plus taxes and Resort fees. We opted for a cheaper flight that was a day earlier. It was difficult finding a hotel at reasonable price being a Saturday night and March Madness and all. I was able to book Stratosphere using HOTWIRE for $129.plus taxes and resort fees from the links here. Requirements: Strip Hotel (prefer center over north, south if available) 3/19-3/24 (willing to add 3/18 if it helps lower the cost although that may be unlikely it being a SAT) 3 adults 1 toddler 1 infant 2 separate rooms in a suite or 2 separate hotel rooms We are down to 1) Flamingo and 2) Excalibur as preference mainly due to options of better kid pools, center strip and being close to our budget. We have ruled out Monte Carlo due to construction of the pool and MGM due to budget. You have already identified Excalibur for me above. Hi, I've tried bidding for Chicago Navy Pier area (Magnificent Mile River North) hotels. Dates 9/5-9/7 Bid for 5, 4.5, 4 Stars with increasing bids $100, $125 and $150. Added another Zone, Millennium-Loop- Grant Park. Tried Hotwire, no luck there either for 4 star and above below $150. My budget 3.5-4 star $100-$125, 4 to 5 star $150. Questions/Help: 1) Need a strategy to get a win in my budget 2) What should my budget be if I cant get #1 ? Thank you !

Found these other deals on Caribe Royale in addition to the Hotwire deal. Hotel Site $175/Night Trip Advisor to be $115/Night Priceline Express to be $102/Night Bid Rejected by Priceline for 4* in same city zone for $85 Used the links from this forum booked PRICELINE EXPRESS for $102. Not bad for a long weekend.
