10 min walk would be acceptable i dont know NYC and most of people say to be near midtown so i will follow your advice i will be with a child so if u know that finacial district its ok would be ok, but i dont think will be good to say in upper sides.
I want to pay as low as possible so i think i can stay im midtown maybe chelsea or another place in manhatan near a sub station, secure, and a place i can walk at night, so whats the strategy to get the best rate for this period.
