  1. Holiday Inn South Beach Resort 2201 Collins January 5-7, 2005 ... Landed at $80.00 + Total with Taxes and Fees: $190.54
  2. If I piece it together with 3 flights (4 hours of layovers in and 6 hours out) I can get $445 RT. Otherwise, best price on NWA website for $775, with Hotwire offering a flight for $503. Any recommendations? I would really not like to go over the $503, as I am just cutting down on the layovers.
  3. Tried again without luck .. I booked direct with Sheraton on Canal for $89.00 night (cancellable). I will attempt Priceline again as date gets closer with hopes that some other hotels wil come on board.
  4. Tried $50, $55, $60, $65, and $70 since Friday ... all unsucessfull ... will try more tomorrow.
  5. Your the Best .. I will give it a whirl and keep you posted!
  6. Thanks for the info ... quick question... RE: Hotel Monaco ... saw some neat things in the review and would be neat to try. With that in mind, would you change the approach to try to snag this Boutique? What region would it be located in on Priceline? Thank You!
  7. Thanks for the question ... I looked on the map, and FQ or CBD would work. Four star, with an undetermined budget, as I understand it can be "pricey". Thanks!
  8. Priceline ... first bid. Based on what others were going for, thought it would be a good deal. (Not on the beach, but still worked for our needs.)
  9. Have never been to the city and would like bidding assistance for date of 2/13-16 with any other recommendations as to districts. THank you!
  10. Quick question b4 I bid ... are any of the hotels that typically come up close to Old San Juan or any other activities, nightlife??
  11. Would like bidding recommendations for Miami Beach ... would like to try for resort or something ON the beach for the two nites. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!
  12. Thanks for the quick reply .. dang, you are good!! As for the beach, I guess we would like as nice of a facility as we can get for the money, even though we are only there one night. As I am not familiar with any of the hotels, its hard to say what I would like to target. We dont have to have the "sprawling beach", so long as we can get into a nice area of water, or even if the pool is a knock-out (ie. Sheraton Bal Harbour). Additionally, are there any resorts reasonably close to Old San Juan? Thanks again for your assistance. Being from Macomb, MI, can only appreciate your name icon as much as your recommendation! GO BLUE! Steve PS I am REALLY appreciative of the restaurant recommendations from another topic. What a plus to using your sight vs. others!!
  13. Need assistance in bidding for a 5 night stay in St. Thomas ... from what I have been seeing, resort properties are narrowed down to 2 ... Marriot Frenchmans Reef and the Renaissance. Anyone been to either??? Would apprciate any thoughts on either, as well as bidding recommendations. Should I split the bid to a 2 night then a 3 night stay? We are open to two different resort properties. Additionally, it helps that I am able to get either for $99. As I know, therefore, where to end my bid, just wondering where to start! Thanks to all!
  14. Looking for some recommendations ... Have never stayed on San Juan. Interested in doing a post cruise stay for a night. I am guessing to go for a resort, a we would prefer something on the beach. Any receommendatons anyone has would be appreciated! Thank You!
