  1. I called the Walt Disney World Hilton and the rate is $132 for refundable (AAA rate) or $125 for non-refundable However, I noticed that the same Hilton had frequently offered at a low price at Priceline, I am just not sure how many people actually are getting the discount rate during the hot season. Anyone who are interested to get into a Disney hotel (or a hotel that is eligible having "magic hours") for this X'mas season, please share your comments.... Thanks.
  2. I failed... I did as you suggested using all nine re-bid zone (use all listed zones except the universal studios/Sea World): Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $68, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $73, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $78, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $82. I end up nothing... Please help!
  3. I will try tonight using the PRICELINE. My target is NMT $80 for a resort in Orlando (Disney World Vicinity) zone. I appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!
  4. ....then it seems to be eithger Villas of Grand Cypress or Hyatt Grand Cypress? Am I correct? I am luck that I check this site, or I will be sorry. Any suggestion for how to get into a disnesy hotel using PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, Is it possible? if it is not possible I think I will just bid a resort using PRICELINE... Thank you very much!
  5. $119 4-star hotel in Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney Resort, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf and Tennis Is it Walt Disney World Hilton? betterbidding.com list w/o tennis for this hotel. I want to get into a WDW hotel so I can use Magic hours. thanks
  6. Are there any hotels in Thousand Islands (Canada or NY) covered under PL or Hotwire? Thanks,
  7. Thanks, but Red Lion is not good for me. I tried PL (through Savingsbarn) yesterday, but failed at $80 for a 4* at downtown/denver. I still have some time before May.
  8. Amenities are resteraunts, pool, fitness.
  9. What is this hotel listed in Hotwire? thanks! 3-star hotel in Greater Downtown Denver (Central Denver)
  10. I hope I understand this correctly: There are three "HYATT"s in Denver, two near by the Convention center as Hyatt Regency (3*) and Grand Hyatt (4*) and there is another Hyatt (tech center), about 12 miles away from the convention center. Now my question is my son and I need to attend a chess event at Hyatt Denver Convention Center, May 12-14. The tournament assigned hotel is Hyatt Regency at a chess rate for $115 plu tax. I would like to use PL/Hotwire to get into one of three hotels, Hyatt Regency (#1 choice), or Grand Hyatt (4*) /Westin (4*). I know if I use PL, it is very risk to bid a 3* and to win Hyatt Regency. Any suggestion for strategy I can use (PL or Hotwire)? Thanks. (by the way, I never use the hotwire before)

  15. Thanks, I have two very young kids, as long as I have a double beds, It should be OK. Previously, I won the couple times at MTW/Hilton by the muilple zone bidding stratege suggested on this webside, and it works for me and the room size of Hilton/MTW is OK. I aim the Hilton/Millenium at this time (It cost less?), but I never stay there before, and I need to develop a new bidding stratege for that zoon area. Anyway, It is a last minute planning. Thanks for the help.
  16. In that case, I have two other plans: One is staying at Jersey City/Hoboken area, where I can get access to the PATH. I notice there are two 4* hotel under PL. Second is the WoodBridge/Edison, where I know the area a little bit. I believe there are two 3* hotles under PL. Any suggestion for the bidding price?
  17. I bring my wife and two kids just visiting NYC, since they really enjoyed last year during the thanksgiving weekend. So the room "size" is very important... I pick low NYC/Soho is because I thought it may cause less $$$?
  18. Is it ture that there are only two 4* hotels in Downtown-soho area? I will be OK for all downtown-soho area. I try to limit myself below $150/per night, but, maybe $200, :) Alternately, maybe some 3* hotels in NYC? My concerns are size/room conditions.
