  1. Very happy with the Monaco. thanks for all the assistance.
  2. 1 queen would be fine as well. Basically want to avoid 2 singles. I am using the BiddingHelper.com tool and all hotels I quoted are 4*. I am using 1 room, 2 adults. I am looking for 4* in USE or USW for $170 - $200
  3. Ok so for the 10th and 11th this is what I have got in the BiddingHelper.com, could I get some help identifying the hotels? PRICELINE EXPRESS USW $168 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant (maybe Monaco or The Prescott?) UQE $190 Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center (Not sure) Both say "All rooms will accommodate up to 2 adults" so I guess that rules them out as I risk getting two single beds. HOTWIRE USW $174 FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, In-room accessibility USE $189 FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom USE $201 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower USW $207 FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower I am finding it difficult to figure out the hotels due to the amount of amenities. Is there any guidelines on how to rule out certain hotels eventhough they might have most of the amenities listed? thanks
  4. Two queens for a King would be find. What I want to avoid getting 2 single beds.
  5. Hi yes dates are confirmed Regarding the room - if it says "accommodates 2 people" does this mean it could end out being a twin room?
  6. Sorry - thinking of dates changing again July 10th - 12th Downtown - USE or USW USW - Hotwire Easy View $174 FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, In-room accessibility (Not Sure) USW - Priceline Express $168 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant (Monaco or Prescott?) In Priceline hotel list some of the hotels have Bed Choice. Does this mean I will get to choose my room type? Or could I get stuck with a twin room? Thanks
  7. No, I no longer see the one for $137. Change in plan. I am looking at hotels downtown, UQE and UQW on the 16 and 17th of July - 4 ot 4.5* Everything seems very expensive - it seems to be cheaper the previous weekend. On Hotwire Easy View I see a 4.5* for $283 FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower An ideas what hotel this is? I would like to get a hotel for around the $200 mark but dont think this will be possible? Thanks
  8. Hi, It seems to be difficult to get reasonable accommodation in the Belmont area. Basic motels/hotels seem over priced. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think San Mateo, Redwood City or San Fran Airport would do as well as they are close. I see a 4* in S. SFO Intl Airport - Burlingame for $137 on Hotwire Easy View FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, In-room accessibility Any idea what this hotel is? Thanks
  9. Went with the Hot.wire deal for $184 and got the Hyatt so very happy with that. Thanks for the assistance. I will be back shortly to book dates in San Fran :)
  10. Up to $185 with 4.5* I am using the BiddingHelper.com tool and the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal is still there for $238. Its a 4.5*
  11. Ok I bid on Priceline up to $185 on NMA-RN using free rebids but no success. I think I would nee to go to about $205 (see below). I am willing to bid on Priceline as well if you think there are better deals. Any help appreciated. Thanks
  13. My budget is still the same. If I thought one of the deals was the Wyndham then I think I would take it because my mother is staying there 1-3rd of December. I was also thinking of bidding on just MSG hoping to get the Wyndham for less than $200.
  14. Dates are final now and yes that is my game plan.
  15. My travel dates were up in the air so I couldnt book anything. New dates are 29th - 3rd Dec. I see a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for $200 in MSG and $235 in TS Any guesses on the hotels? Also see Hot.wire deals for 211 in MSG and 234 in TS Again any guesses on the hotels? MSG FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower TS FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
  16. Thanks I am going to monitor the deals using Bidding.Helper for a few days and see if anything good comes up before trying the strategy.
  17. Sorry yes I mean CPS. Please remove MSG and add only Chelsea. Thanks
  18. Ok i think the hotel for 207 in MSG might be the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel. I dont really like this hotel, reviews are not great i.e. dated and small rooms. Any suggestions for a bidding strategy if I was to leave out MSG and maybe add a different zone e.g. SPS or Chelsea
  19. Thanks for the strategy, Before I try it out I am trying to get an idea of the hotels I might get. I see the cheapest PRICELINE EXPRESS deal at the moment is in MSG for $207 . Any guesses what hotel this is? In Hot.wire there is also a hotel for $208 in its MSG zone. Any guesses what hotel this is? FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower
  20. Ok the One UN looks a bit too East so I guess I will leave out MTE. I would like to try a max bid of 180 first. If that doesnt work then I will try a max bid of 200.
  21. Hi I used PRICELINE in the past for NYC, both times for Time Square. Last time I got the Westin and it was very good. This time however I am looking for something more affordable as we are going for a longer time and over Thanksgiving. I would like to spend between $150 - $200/night incl taxes. Having stayed in Times Square I think I would be happy with the following zones but I am open to suggestions :) MTE MTW Empire State MSG Times Square Using the BiddingHelper.com I see two in the MTE zone for 148 and 172 euro ($188 and $219). Any suggestions on the above? Thanks
  22. Excellent, I used the PRICELINE EXPRESS link you provided with the discount code and went for the Express Deal on Price.line. It was indeed The Westin. Total cost for 4 nights (18 - 22nd of April) incl taxes is $928. Thanks for all the help and the discount code, I think I got a good hotel and a great deal.
  23. Ok I gave Price.line a go! I started with TS at $150 - failed got offered a free rebid "If you are willing to raise your price by $66 to $216 per room per night" etc. I ignored and added MTW and upped my bid to $160 - rejected Started a new bid with MTW at $165 - failed got offered a free rebid "If you are willing to raise your price by $66 to $216 per room per night" etc. I ignored and added TS and upped my bid to $170 - rejected Added free bid zone Morningside Heights for 175 - rejected At this point should I just go with the Hot.wire deal of $176 in TS?
  24. FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Business Center, Internet access, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility To me this looks like The Row? Bidding Helper has the price at $184 but Hotwire has it $178? The reason I was willing to bid more on Priceline was because I thought the Express on there was for The Jewell which I preferred to the The Row. However, if I am correct, I now realize that I could of bided higher and still ended up with The Row?
  25. Ok thanks. Any guesses on what hotel it is i.e. $176 in TS? Could I get a priceline bidding strategy for TS and MTW? I believe I get one free bid and my budget would be $200. Thanks
