You're right again! I decided to go for it because I would have loved to stay at any of these hotels you mentioned, and it was the Scandic Norra Bantorget, which to me was the best of the three we outlined. $164 total with taxes was $198.01 Thanks again!

It's the marathon that weekend, so that is actually a reasonable price. Wow! You were exactly right. I don't know how you picked that hotel. The Ariadne Stockholm Scandic is not within the Norrmalm - Gamla Stan area, but was the right hotel. I called them up after I booked to complain, because it was not in the right area and they gave me a credit. I guess it's back to the drawing board.
