  1. I thought it was a long shot but you never know. We will take a 3* as long as it's on the riverwalk. So maybe I need to start lower for a 3*? I'll do more research. Thanks again.
  2. We've finally locked down our dates for the vacation. In July 12 out July 16th. We need 4 (four) rooms in the riverwalk area. I'm trying to get something under $100.00 a night....which..by reading everything really seems to be too low of a price to get accepted. Should I bid on a 4* up to that price and add what zone? (Medical?) Would that be a safe bid zone? (I see they don't offer 4*) OR........would it be better to try a 3* in the riverwalk for?????? what price? We don't want to stay in anything below that, if we can help it. Thanks to all that respond.
  3. Thanks Lotzostuff! That link is a tremendous help. This is a great site, thanks to thereuare.
  4. Thanks for the info about Amerisuites. We have stayed there in Ft. Worth, we liked the hotel. I'm sorry but am new to this, is it called support page? I'm not finding that. Also the parking lots, is there a link to know where they are? We now have the dates July 12 to July 16th. I know..hotter than hllllll in Texas at that time. Thanks to all.
  5. Thank you, Since we don't know the area we were hoping someone knew of a hotel that didn't charge. I've heard of $25.00 per night charges. I didn't want to pay that much for parking.
  6. I've read and read until I think I have an idea about all of this. The question I need answered is this: I know that around the riverwalk there are some hotels that charge up to $25.00 for parking. Do I need to call all the hotetls listed to ask or is there someway to KNOW when I bid? This is a wonderful site and I can't wait to acutally bid. :) I've read the tips on rebidding and each time I understand it more. I don't see winning bids during the summer time in San Antonio much. Is this because the hotels won't offer hotels on the high season? :) Thanks, Househuntress
