We used to get the Courtyard Marriott in this area at a 2.5* for $35. This is the 2nd time we have not been able to get the Couryard, dropped to 2* and received the La Quinta. The hotel is only okay, but we have family really close, so this will do just fine.
As a Milwaukeean (is that you spell it? :) ) I would try any of the regions, depending on the reason you can coming and willingness to drive. Pretty much any area will be 20 minutes and under to downtown. Hope that helps!
Normally we get the Courtyard Marriott (2.5*) for around $30. So I was bummed when we were up to $50 and still no luck. We didn't immediately rebid for the 2* because we were not sure we wanted to take the risk. I tried for a 2* and bid at $25. I got the ole,
