  2. We won the Roosevelt a year ago and it was the best location ever. If you dont like your room, just ask if you can move. You are really close to Grand Central and just minutes from Times Square. relax and have fun!!!!!
  3. We stayed there 2 years ago and won on Priceline also. We had a nice room on the 48th floor and could see Central Park. My only advice is if you get an older outdated room just ask to be changed. They were very nice! Have fun!
  4. Thank you! I wasnt sure if it was that hotel or Affinia Dumont.

  12. The Hotel Roosevelt was very nice. The lobby was beautiful, our rooms were fine, and the staff was friendlier than alot of NY hotel staffs I have encountered, es. the front desk!!! Head bellman and concierge were nice too! Thanks Better bidding!!! Oh and the location is wonderful.....
  13. I totally understand.....it was the upcharge of $60 per night per room that upset me......I did contact the hotel and the reservation clerk was very gracious and I think I got my 2 double beds!! PRICELINE Executive offices were of no help, they sounded like robots.......Next time I need more than one bed I will use HOTWIRE or Expedia. The Roosevelt did state that they match prices of other websites. I could have called them direct and they would match other sites...good to know!!!!! Thanks for your help and advice! Love the site!
  14. I called the Roosevelt hotel to put in a request for double beds. They said if they are available it might cost me another $50 per night per room...is this common? I have never had a problem in NYC getting double beds and have never been charged for it......thank you!
  15. Thanks for the tip! I heard they were good bagels, didnt know they were so close!
  16. THANK YOU! I am going with a positive attitude!!! Looks like its in a great location! I did have a backup room at Affinia Manhatan for $181 per nite but it s a lot further away from the action......

I would like to $80 to $135 a nite before taxes for a 3.4 or 4.0 star...We plan on going to Top of the Rock, Central Park, SOL, Ground Zero and Chinatown.
