FYI: This hotel is undergoing a remodel right now. I can't believe it passed as a 3.5* pre-remodel. It may be nice after, but I would avoid it for now.

6 rebids starting at $55 up to the win at $67. PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for this hotel was $72. I had attempted the Fiesta Texas and Sea World areas yesterday for 3* up to $71 with no luck.

Took 5 rebids starting at $55 and increasing by $5 for winning bid of $75. Express deal for this was $82. I got the same room a year ago for $65 and it turned out to be adjoining rooms setup as a suit. This motel has a great pool and is well worth it even at the express deal price. Priceline has also restructured this area so you have a chance for 6 rebids where in the past you only had one rebid.

You only get one option for a rebid here so I started a little high and got it on the first bid. The express rate was $72. I made the reservation the day before check in. Typically a 3* is quite a bit higher there this time of year.

Started with $55 for 3.5 and got this for $60 on the second try. It seems a number of the hotels in this area have had their star rankings changed. The corresponding express deal for this hotel was $70.

Used 5 rebids starting at $75 in $3 increments to $87. Express deal available was $96. Hotwire was $116. Not my favorite place to stay downtown but not bad at all for the price.

I just added an additional night to this stay at the same rate and noticed these additional amenities. Internet access In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking

Tried PRICELINE up to this amount including the Central area with no luck. I stayed here 10+ years ago and it was fine then. Yes, I used the HOTWIRE link.
