  1. his is the same property. I just wasn't sure because of no casino being listed on PRICELINE
  2. Do you think it could be the ambassador even though the listing doesn't list a casino?
  3. Looking at going to Puerto Rico from March 13-15, 2015. Right now in the Express Deals on priceline it's showing a 3.5* for $92. It lists pool, restaurant, fitness center, free internet, and business center. I'm kind of thinking it's the Ambassador but I could be wrong.. It doesn't list a casino in the description for the hotel so that's why I'm thinking maybe something else. What do you think it is? I clicked both links before posting:)
  4. Hey. Looking to travel to Detroit in June.. The dates are 6/6 through 6/8. Right now, currently there's a 3.5 star under the express deals for $85 in the Auburn Hills Pontiac area with Free Wifi, Pool, Free parking, business center and weight room. The 3 star is the same area, for$77 a night. Same amenties with the addition of a resteraunt. Each one has a 7.0 rating. What could these be? I clicked the pl.express link.
  5. Just for clarification (I didn't realize until just now) its Sheraton Puerto Rico Convention Center Hotel & Casino. Not the one right outside where the ships dock. Is this one typically better than the other?
  6. The 6 that look like I can add to the bid that DON'T have 4* hotels are: Culebra Humacao Mayaguez Metropolotian Northwest – Porta del Sol Ponce Does that look right?
  7. Hey everyone. Can you let me know what the rebidding process would be for Puerto Rico (Old San Juan - Condado) area for 4*? Once I bid 4* for the Condado area and it gets rejected, what are the next areas I can add without getting a hotel in that area since they don't have any 4* hotels? I think I have an idea but I'm afraid to just do it since I've never done it before
  8. And also, does the O:Live or whatever get won very much if I were to bid? I don't feel like that looks like a 4* hotel
  9. What it looks like to me, I can bid for 4* in Old San Juan - Condado, and then if that doesn't get accepted, I can add Mayaguez at 4* since they don't have a 4* hotel and then after that add Ponce - Guanica since it doesn't look like they have a 4* either, and that way I'll still only end up in Old San Juan - Condado, correct? Could I add Isla Verde since that looks pretty close to the airport and the cruise terminal as well? I could stay there in a 4*?
  10. When is the best time to start bidding? Or what's a trick to maximize bids? Adding certain areas that don't have 4 star hotels?
  11. My back up is the newer best Western that they just refinished. And I believe the condado area is okay as well
  12. My back up hotel is in the old San Juan area, and I'm paying I believe 180 a night. I want to be in the old San Juan area and 4 star
  13. I'm going to be staying in San Juan coming up in mid March (14th through the 16th) pre-cruise, which is Friday night and Saturday night. I have a hotel booked right now that I can cancel (it's at the new Best Western), but I'm going to be bidding on priceline to try and get a 4* for a decent price for the two nights. What sort of price can I expect to pay if I bid? When will be the best time to start trying to bid? Are there any tricks to getting to bid before the 24 hour waiting time is up? Any help is great! I'm new to all of this!
