Thanks for you're replies, since location is the most important thing to us on this trip, and the downtown region on Hotwire is so large, I'd rather not chance it. I booked a refundable room at the hilton downtown for the time being, and will continue monitoring hotwire and the boards to see if anything changes. Thanks again for you're help.

Doesn't this listing guarantee an indoor pool, which AT&T center doesn't have?

Hi, I'm looking for help determining the 4 star hotel for Austin, downtown/town lake, I'd be fine with any hotel besides the AT&T, since I want to be within close walking distance to 6th st. Details from the quick quote are: Feb 7-feb9 3rooms, 9 guests $152 a night for 4* Pet friendly Indoor pool Smoke free Fitness Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self service laundry High speed internet It came out to $120 a night for 1room 2 guests.
