  1. Yes, I think we would like to stick with MTE/TS. So, I will start bidding at 125 and go up by 5 as you said.

As far as re-bidding, how long to I have to wait before trying again? Do I have to wait for the "you may bid again" email (and of course, come back and use the PRICELINE link on this site to do that) or is there anyway of re-bidding faster? I really want to get this hotel booked as quickly as possible. Thanks for your help!

  2. Good morning!

I did read my messages and understand. Thanks!

I don't know what would be best for me as all I need for my son is a Pack n Play (or crib). I would assume that this can be added to any room, even if we have one bed and one bed is all we need. However, it is very important that we get the crib. This would require a phone call direct to the hotel we win and we would have to do this either way (priceline or hotwire). I am looking for a 4 star. Seems most of the hotels are chains, so I would think that getting a crib at any of them wouldn't be a problem but there may be an extra charge when we get there, so I would like to get the best deal on the room to make up for the possibility of a crib charge.

Am I making any sense here? BAD night with the little one....

  3. Thanks for responding!

The only reason we would be cancelling would be if one of us were sick (my son, more specifically as an ear infection will keep up from flying and we are in Canada) so the cancellation terms wouldn't be a problem.

I understand your opinion on TS and have read that it is very hectic. We plan on purchasing the "hop on/hop off" plan on the Grey Line double decker so that will help cut down on some walking but seems DH has his heart set on Midtown West.

I would say we could pay $160 PLUS the taxes/fees if need be...we aren't really bound by a budget per se, we just want the best deal possible. We are flying in on Fri March 14th and board our cruise ship on Monday, March 17th.

Thanks so much for your help :)

  4. Good day everyone!!

My husband, 1 year old son and myself are spending 3 night in NYC mid March. I would like a 4+ hotel in the Times Square area and I am hoping to not spend more than 160 a night (I know, not asking much but we would be getting the $5/day cancellation for sure so that is an extra $15 right off the bat). We will be doing a lot of walking so it is important to be close to all of the action. Midtown West would work too. Is $160 or less unattainable? The cheaper, the better, obviously.

I am brand new at this so I am wondering if any of you could find it in your heart to help me out with a proper strategy?

I would really appreciate some help. Thanks SO much in advance!!
