I've done quite a bit of research on this property myself and believe it to be the Palomar as well. There are a few user reviews that lament the fact that there are two double beds instead of queens, which is consistent with the Palomar. Further, many reviews speak to the "boutique" style of the hotel despite not being labeled as such. This, combined with the Spa amenity, confirm what I know to be true of the Palomar having stayed there in the past. In any event, if you book it, I'm anxious to see the results.

Point taken on the percentile ratings, but when all the amenity sets are similar, I look for any discernable difference from one hotel to the next. Given that Jedwards1086 just booked the Park Central (which carried a 95% rating), I think it's fair to say there's some merit to the percentages...at least in this particular hotel zone.

We've booked the Westin Galleria often via Hotwire and the customer rating has always been 100%. And I just realized that they have changed the Galleria zone to include Park Central...ugh. So with that, my guess would be the Westin Park Central. I believe the Sheraton to have an 80% customer rating.

Booked for NYE and very pleased with this rate despite the additional self-parking fee that will have to be paid. Haven't seen a recent win for this hotel, but noticed that an indoor pool is included in the amenities and now carries 90% customer approval, which should distinguish itself fom the likes of the Hilton Lincoln Center, the Intercontinental and the recently upgraded (debatably) Sheraton. Just booked the Omni Austin Hotel for $101 for two nights. The Sheraton had been the other location that had been toggling back and forth on the site over the last few days ($126/night), so feel fortunate to have received the Omni...90% recommended over 65% with the Sheraton...at least as reported in prior posts. The Omni Galleria price dropped from $132 to $83 on HOTWIRE, so had to book it. I've had a couple of recent wins with the same amenities for the Westin Galleria. The distinguishing factor was the customer approval rating of 100%, though. If it's 80 or 85%, my guess would be Le Meridien or the Intercontinental. Bear in mind that Le Meridien tacks on $20 for parking, while the (free) self-park option is available at the Westin and Intercontinental. Hilton Lincoln Center is also a possibility as well as all four properties often list the exact same amenities. Good Luck!

1st Bid - $50 on 10/16 2nd Bid - $56 on 10/17 (Won) Very nice hotel, although it does appear to be pretty desolate at times on the weekend. We were able to get our desired room without a problem (K/NS), which was very accomodating as Priceline customers are often given very little priority as far as room choice.

Another great thing about this site, I discover something new every time I check it out. Anyway, regarding my previous post - I noticed a similar desribed hotel as I read further down the topic list. Your initial feedback thought maybe that it was the New Clinton Hotel. I would agree based on my research of the hotel. Unless one has a difference of opinion, there is no need to respond. Any ideas as to which South Beach hotel this could be? 4* - Boutique/Near Beach/Pool/Fitness Center/Spa/Golf/Tennis BTW, absolutely brilliant site. I've must have told a dozen people about it in the last two days.
