After numerous rebids, eventually ended up with the Sheraton.
Started at $90, then worked my way up to $135. When I bid $120 it offered a room for $144 so I knew I was close.. Narrowed the range to $135 and was successful
Given all that is happening in TO that week, it is actually not a bad price so I'm pleased

Not sure whether you want to know about non-wins, but on Price.line I was unsuccessful bidding from $80 through to $135, for Aug.11 - 14.
I eventually gave up and booked a room through Hot.wire.
Never did receive their offer of a room at a higher price, "If i book right now" either...

Just a heads up for research purposes...
I bid 4* Stowe, starting at $80 for Waterbury - Stowe and was unsuccessful up to $120, by which point I had to add in Essex Junction (which has a 4*, too) and was still unsuccessful...
Inn at Essex website indicates it might be sold out for the 26 so that might be part of the problem (given that I had a successful priceline bid at $110 for Aug 24, and 25 there)
Started bidding at $90. Upped bid by $5 to 90, then by $10 to $105 and was successful.
