I'll be staying there those exact dates, too.

This past time bidding, $150 was my first bid. I had been rejected so many times and really wanted to get a place. At least I got a place with good-sized rooms in a decent location (about a block from the Waldorf Astoria and W Hotel)

I've been trying a lot lately for these dates on Priceline and Hotwire. I've gone from $120 all the way to $170 being rejected. Yesterday I put in $150 for MTW, MTE, UMT and got the Doubletree at 51st and Lexington on the first shot. Ironically, the last time I was in NYC, I stayed at this hotel. I like the location - the subway is right outside the door. It's a quick walk to St Pat's and Time's Square.
