Tried Priceline's bidding for the first time today after reading a blog post on how to bid. Going to see Les Mis in December so was looking for a good hotel option in Toronto and most of the prices I saw on other sites were $110+ Big $70, $75, $80, $85 to no avail. Finally tried $87 and won the bid. I'd say it was a pretty successful first attempt. A good 4* hotel for considerably less than the $129 Hotwire was charging for the same hotel for the same night.
