Needed a hotel before my flight out of MSP near the airport. Got the holiday inn. Wasn't expecting much but it was REALLY nice inside. although i didn't use it, there were tons of people in the pool which was clean and quite large. their on-site restaurant runs happy hour specials many times throughout the day, so i was able to get a glass of wine and dinner for under $10. shuttle service was very frequent and took me back and forth to the mall and then to the airport. definitely recommend. Yeah I went over there a couple times already and it's gorgeous. But you're right, it's NYC prices in Hoboken. Drinks are around $14, plus tax on top of that plus tip. But it's a good crowd.

Going on a trip to Phoenix and the grand canyon and scored a full size car for $16. have been bidding every day for the the past week and worked my way up from $10 and finally won at $16.

Retail rate is $209 a night and for some reason, I couldn't win a 4 star under $115. I booked the room for a friend of mine who has to go out there for a conference...so as long as the hotel was downtown and within a 10 min ride of W Broadway, he was happy. More than 1/2 off is a good deal for him!

I needed a hotel the night before my cruise. I started bidding up to $90 for a 3 and 2.5 star by the FLL airport. I was getting declined. Hi All -- I recently used priceline to get a room for 7/2-7/3 for $170 at the Sheraton. We decided to head down a day earlier and bid again. We won the sheraton for $175 a night, using 2 free rebid zones. Started bidding at $160. List price for the sheraton on Saturday 7/1 is $409 a night. So we are THRILLED with getting this room for less than 1/2 price. I called the hotel to request a non-smoking room and to combine the reservation and she said no problem and that we'd be updated to a Suite. Hopefully my time at the casino is just as lucky!
