Actually, we are not intending to even stay in the room. I am making the reservation to obtain the express passes only. As far as I know all Universal deluxe resorts have an occupancy of 5. Since it is a holiday week, hotels are very expensive. We have a townhouse for the entire week reserved.

Hello , I am looking to book one of the 3 deluxe onsite hotels at Universal Orlando. I am only interested in the Portifino, Royal Pacific, or Hard Rock. I have found a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $348 that seems to be one of them due to the amenities and the room categories. I am also traveling with 5 people. Could you please provide a strategy for NYOP for these hotels. I understand that it is not guaranteed but in your experience, if you select universal resort and 4 stars are these the hotels that come up? Also what price would you start at? I would be thrilled @ 300 but would not want to be in any other hotel. Thank you in advance
