  1. I bid up to 131 with no luck on st petes 4*. Looks like largo and Dunedin could be free bid opportunities? Doesn't look like there are 4* accommodations there correct? Just wanted to make absolute sure. I bid using St Petes, Clearwater beach, and north Clearwater beach as sections while bidding. Could you give me that info on guy Harvey and sirata? I definitely like both hotels maybe guy Harvey a bit more. That looks like the cheaper alternative to what I'm trying to do.
  2. Thanks. Yeah, I'd be fine if Zamora popped up but definitely not thrilled. Looks like I could get Zamora for $106/night on HOTWIRE. Just still not certain its on the list for bidding 4* st petes. That resort fee is pretty hefty at 45/day, so not sure about HOTWIRE for that. Do you think it's better to wait a week and check again or do you think things will go up the closer it gets to the time? Ill look at at sirata and guy Harvey and do some research on those. You find those at Hotwire express deals 3.5 stars St Petes? Thanks again for all your guidance!
  3. I see what you are saying about rebidding. Make sure it goes by the Priceline hotel lists and not the list on this site. Also, Las Vegas updated. My apologies must have been pretty busy around thanksgiving. Anyway, do you think there is a chance to get Zamora which I don't want and how much more would I have to go up to get don Cesar or tradewinds in your estimation? It looks like one of the express deals is tradewinds at $157, but that's still too much.
  4. Hello, I'm looking to get a 4 star hotel for MAY 18-20 in St. Petes beach. On the hotel list there is Tradewinds and Loews Don Cesar which I would be fine with either one. I did notice the hotel Zamora in st petes beach is possibly a 4* as well. It's gotten me a bit scared bc I do not want that hotel. Anyway, I started bids around $92-117 with no luck. I also see the possibility of a lot of free bids if your hotel list is up to date. Any advice is welcome! I don't really want to pay over 130 especially with the resort fees.
  5. I want to book this today, so any advice is appreciated. I want the palms casino not really the Rio, but I know there is always a chance. I was thinking of bidding real low like 49 or 59 a night for 4* hotels west of the strip. I also noticed express deals for 69/night with that 5% off which was tempting. Also, is there any rebidding for the 4* west of the strip? I saw hendersor and boulder strip as possibilities since there is no 4* hotels in the area. Please help!
  6. Never mind I want the casino so looks like I need to go 4* and its between the palms and rio. Any advice? Express deals?
  7. I went up to 100 with no success. I'm thinking of trying to get the palms for dirt cheap. Might be easy bc it's the only 4.5 star hotel west of strip. Any suggestions I was thinking of starting at 59/night
  8. Ok so say I add Las Vegas airport (las) because it doesn't have any 5* hotels I can rebid. This time I'm trying 95 anything over that is over budget. Maybe 98. Am I on the right track?
  9. Never mind I was on my phone and I didn't see the FAQ but clicked full version and now I'm ok
  10. Huh, couldn't find that discussion, but do you mean for instance adding 4.5 stars to north strip and because there isn't any hotels in the 4.5 star range I would get another bid?
  11. I low balled too low and my highest bid was 85 on a 5* strip north they told me I have to wait 24 hours. I thought I was close! Any advice? I'd like to book today.
  12. Done. Gotta say I love the site and I've already learned so much especially with the locator of hotels around Vegas. I'm military looking to have a good time in Las Vegas around thanksgiving weekend.
  13. I'm looking in to getting two rooms around thanksgiving weekend - nov. 28 - dec. 1 total of 3 nights. Specifically strip north or strip vicinity south 5* if possible. I'm wondering around this time should I start really cheap? Would it be better to wait a little longer before trying to book? I'm on a very slim budget and was hoping for possibly 60/ night. Am i really being unreasonable or is that attainable. Any advice would be great. Sorry for the newb Question This is my first post.
