My dates are firm. I have the birth year rate for Sheraton which averages to about $150/night. I am just curious if rates typically drop during Memorial Day Weekend in NYC or not. Thank you.

What is MTS? If it has do do with location, I prefer to be as close to times Square as possible.

After looking at the current 4* rates and what I am willing to pay, I decided to downgrade a *. I would love a 4* but what I really would like better is a really good hotel in the location I like for $175 max. 3* or better for my price would be acceptable. So your are right, I am looking for the least expensive 3* or better.

I guess I need to be midtown and no less than a 3*. I would love to stay under $175 per night. Thanks for your input.

I think it may be Holiday Inn or Amerisuites since LaQuinta does not have a pool. Of those two choices, which would be a 3*? Also if hotwire is listing at $101, what would be a reasonable starting bid for PL? Also, any other area suggestions...I am travelling to visit family in Somerville. We do not want to be too far away because we will have inlaws with us and they want to be as close as possible. Thank you.
