Got W for $171. Not bad, but parking stinks.

3* Amarillo (West - South) Not a great deal, but OK at 11pm for same night arrival $59 +tx for my 3 boys on a roadtrip.

3* Stillwater Marriott Residence Suites for $115 on PL for OSU move-in weekend 8/14/14 to 8/17/14. First shot was $102 like last year, 2nd shot with alternate account at $107, added Sapulpa area (only has a 1* super 8) at $112 - rejected. Added Sapulpa to alt. account at $115 for 3 nights... Done. Parking is crowded and patrons can be loud; but it is clean, nice people, and located halfway between the campus & country club, so it works.

3* Ft. Worth (University) Hawthorne Suites - Fort Worth - Med Center/TCU 08/10/14 $70 Let's see if it is better than the cheesey Marriott across the street.

Wow... I messed up big. The parking will be $20 per day. Hotel is tired, but the staff is very nice. Bring lots of extension cords and splitters since there are almost no plugs for device charging. No plane noise at all and good a/c.

4* Dallas (DFW NORTH) Hyatt Regency DFW Intl Airport $85 each for 2 rooms 5/28/14-5/29/14 Hoped for Gaylord Texan, but Hyatt is OK. Price is a little high, but I did not want to fight it. Sale completed on 5/26/14 2 rooms Thanks to the forum. DB

Stillwater: 3* Marriott Residence Suites for $102 on PL for OSU move-in weekend 8/10/13 to 8/12/13. Not great, but better than the $179 internet rate for the only 3* in town.

Thanks Mr. Wolverine. Yes it was a typo in the title (if you can edit it to "3* Lafayette: 10/3/13-10/5/13" please do so) 3* Lafayette, LA from 10/3/13 to 10/5/13 was confirmed at $62 for Courtyard on Kaliste Saloom road. Had hoped for the Hilton, but still good to go. DB

Took a shot on PL for $48 in Lafayette South (which usually yields the Hilton)... denied. Later tried at $58. They countered at $69 (which isn't bad). Should I wait a couple of days and shoot again at $61-63 ish, or just give them the $69? I'm worried that adding Rayne may get the Drury on I-10... yuck. Thanks, newbie
